Good for Charging and Data Transfer

I’ve had a Hub Man for about six months, and use it (him?) almost daily. Things I charge with Hub Man: HTC Droid Incredible smartphone, Sansa Clip, Omnitech mini-speakers, and Bluetooth bracelet. I also use it to transfer photos and files from my smartphone to my desktop and to transfer podcasts from my desktop to my Sansa. The only issue I’ve ever had is that when I plug in my phone, sometimes a “Windows - No Disk” error pops up on my computer, but I just click on Cancel twice, and it goes away - it doesn’t keep it from working.

Don't waste your money, even though it's cute

I purchased this hub a few years ago, and quickly, one by one, the USB connections stopped working. So...I thought maybe it was just a defective one and I'll give them another try. There goes another 20+ down the drain!! This one did the exact same thing, only faster! I think one USB connection MAY still be working, but within less than a month...same as before. Please...think long and hard before you blow your hard-earned money on the gadget that is only there to be a novelty, catch your eye, and lure you in! It's just not worth it. I know a lot of USB hubs stop working after a while, but not less than a month after purchase, more like several years or longer. Tell all your friends not to buy this because he's so cute. That is what I thought, too, and my daugher wanted/needed a USB hub, so she asked for this one. Lesson learned - don't listen to daughter!

The little guy only lasted 2 months. The plastic cover that cover each port, one of them separated and fell off. Also the body of the little guy gets hot if on too long. I'm returning him today.

it doesn't work with magic jack, or my wireless mouse. It does however work for my PC speakers and printer. It is disappointing that the hubs do NOT work for all USBs u may need to plug in there.

My daughter has only 2 usb ports on her laptop. I ordered this and she loves it. She loves the little power iight where his heart would be. It is a great conversation piece. Now my husband wants a hubman too.

This 4 port USB hub man is cute, and allows me to expand the USB ports on my Dell laptop which only has 2 (one is used for the mouse) which leaves only one. I was disappointed when I plugged in the USB man and then plugged in my Western Digital portable drive and it said that the device was not recognized. I also plugged in my digital camera and it did not recognize the device. Both devices when plugged directly into the computer's USB port were recognized and worked fine. The USB man device when I first plugged into the computer said it detected it and it was ready for use.

I love this little gizmo. Before I had things sticking out all over my laptop from my USB ports, now, I just have this one little guy, and hook everything into him. It's so much more convenient, especially when you are limitied on space, or you use your laptop on the go. You don't have to undo a whole bunch of things to be on the run. I love it so much, I got one for my husband, and when I couldn't find another one in the store for my son, I ordered his online here. You can't beat it.
