You get what you pay for, and maybe not even that! All three of mine regularly fray on the edges and started doing so within weeks of purchase. I am constantly having to cut threads off. One of mine broke after about 6 months. Yes, they were easy to install, but they won't last.

I was looking for a light filtering shade that would prevent my husband and I from being blinded by the sun while watching tv. This shade is perfect. It still lets in a large amount of light while preventing a solar glare. These are the cheapest shades I could find that would still function and hold up for more than a few months. Similar shades for the price are made out of paper. The install can be a little annoying because the hidden brackets are made of clear acrylic. It creates an optical illusion when you're trying to install them in a straight line, but that's my only complaint. The cordless lift works perfectly.
