Glass Shards

When I unpacked the box I looked for imperfections but saw none. I hand-washed the lids & air dried them. I put the glass bottoms in the dishwasher & when cool nested them carefully in a cabinet. When I went to use 2 of them the 1st time I saw chipped rims & glass shards (1/8" to 1/4") in the bottoms. The lid gaskets had a sloppy fit & wouldn't stay in place. I returned them to BBB right away. I had identified the problem gaskets & chipped rims with blue tape & included the shards. The CS lady didn't want to take the time then to inspect & write the report until I insisted. One month later this product is still being sold there. I researched glass making qualities & learned that cheap glass doesn't contain the ingredient that used to make glass bakeware so tough. Had those glass shards gone unnoticed & gotten mixed in with food they could have done major damage to anyone ingesting them.

Not only are the lids difficult to snap shut, but a glass box literally shattered in my husband's hands as he was trying to close it. Glass went everywhere including into his hand. The food and the box were both at room temperature when it happened. If I could give this zero stars I would.

I love glass storage containers. They keep the food fresh and are easy to clean. The price seemed great, however two of the dishes were chipped. Totally dissapointed as they are described as unbreakable. The rubber in the lid comes out of the groove and are difficult to reinsert. This doesnt happen with other brand containers. I wish I could return it but threw out the package. Don't Buy!!!

Prior to purchasing this product I read the reviews, which were mixed concerning a problem with securing the lid. However, because some reviewers indicated they had no problem with the lid I went ahead and purchased with the thought that perhaps the problem had been corrected. Needless to say - there is still a problem with securing the lids as I could only secure the lids on one or two of the dishes. Should not have purchased!

This set works well. Good quality of glass and lids. Sizes of the containers are reasonable (no very small ones), but not very big (no family size either).

Don't know why some reviews said that the lids couldn't fit. I don't have this problem. Maybe you shouldn't microwave the lid.

I previously bought Glasslock food storage bowl from Bed Bath& Beyond and I absolutly love them. I went to purchase another of my favorite size and when I got home I first discovered it wasn't as tall. It was then that I saw the name Store N' Lock and the made in China - and the one I love is Glasslock made in Korea. I have no reason to purchase another Store N' Lock when the Glasslock has served me so well (and I have never had a problem locking it!)

I bought these and love them, best leftover refrigerator storage ever. Things stay very fresh longer. They clean up easily and are very durable. I also like that the bottoms are glass not plastic.

I am not sure why some people are giving these bad reviews, my lids have worked perfectly and are very easy to snap on and seal very well.

I especially like these for things like leftover cut tomatoes, onions, peppers and other cut fruits and vegetables, makes them last a long time.
