Bought them and had the same issue with the container lids not closing on some sides. The simple solution is to turn the lids 90 degrees to one side until you find the one that works. Sounds annoying, but if you're low on cash, this is a pretty decent set. I sent mine back because I didn't want to deal with the hassle and they have new container sets with lids that lock at the bottom so my closet isn't a gigantic mess. Totally worth the switch!

Good sizes and stacking capabilities, however.......
They're NOT microwavable! The more you nuke with these, the more they peel, warp, and stain! The staining is ridiculous! Even Cream of Mushroom soup leaves a stain! Where the containers have peeled, the stain color is darker - grotesque and disgusting product! I can't believe BB&B carries such a CHEAP product! After about a month, the lids do NOT pop on with ease... you'll need a hammer or vice grips (not to mention an extra manni or two to fix your nails!) Not worth 50 cents!! I'm going back to glass!!!

I love these containers and the sizes. The small containers are great for storing or transporting small amounts such as toppings or herbs. I too have had the problem with just one container like the last reviewer in that the sides of one of the tops will not close. I remedy this by rotating the top hoping it will fit against one of the other edges of the container. However, I have never put these in the dishwasher, so I'm not sure if that warps them or not. Some slight staining did occur in a container which I stored chili in. But I love these containers and the price. They are so cute I will buy another set.

I don't want to give these containers a terrible review as there is always the chance I got a bad container in the bunch. After about a month and twice in the dishwasher, one of the containers is so difficult to close that I needed someone to do it for me. Unfortunately, then I couldn't open it. I ended up breaking two nails while trying to get it open. I have not had the same problem with the others yet but have also not used most of them. Only time will tell if they all get ruined by my DW's top rack. I hope not as they really do seal well.

I've only had these a few weeks, but so far so good. I brought cut up watermelon in one to work with me for lunch and I didn't wind up with a sticky mess in my lunchbox. I also reheated spaghetti with tomato sauce in one and it didn't get stained. I have not used them for freezing yet and I don't have a dishwasher, so I don't have input on that.
