Love these dishes

These dishes are fabulous, beautiful and stand up well after washing time and time again. Absolutely love them. I got them as a wedding present and have used them allot. I will say I don't have a dish washer right now so I don't know how they hold up in the dish washer. I wash them by hand. Knives do not leave scratch them either. Beautiful for entertaining.

I purchased the Colorwave product when it first was available years ago. I was in love with the colors and the way the plates and bowls were shaped as well as the quality of Noritake products i had in the past. After a year or so, I began to notice gray streaks on my plates and bowls, which I brought to the attention of the store where I purchased them. They told me that they had never seen this before and that it must be something I was doing; using the wrong dishwasher product, using the wrong type of silverware, etc. They suggested that I buy another product and use it to remove the streaks from my dishes occasionally. I was not a new bride and was well aware of the fact it was not my fault at all. I had been using the same dishwasher product for years and the silverware as well. Eventually, after much aggravation and continued visits to the store, they agreed to take back the dishes and offered me a voucher for another one of their products, which I felt was reasonable. I picked out another set of dishes, for which I use the same dishwasher detergent and the same silverware with no problem. I hope that whatever caused this problem with my plates and bowls has been remedied because they looked terrible after only one year of use.

Noritake colorwave chocolate plate set

We decided on this plate set and put it on our wedding registry. I got a lot of them at my bridal shower and everyone kept saying how much they liked the look of them. I myself like the look, and so far after about 3 months they have held up well. The Bowls are bigger then what we had before and it's wonderful. When we load them into the dishwasher they don't have as good of a fit as the last plate set we used so we have to carefully load the dishwasher; other then that I really like this set

As a purchase for our household, we have gotten many compliments on our dishware. The bowl and plates are perfect sizes. Mugs are perfect for small quantity of tea or coffee, wish they were a little bit larger. Dishes are not hot to the touch when removing from microwave. Great quality and durability. Will continue to purchase sets to grow collection that could be passed down as an heirloom item.
