Great product...just prone to mildew

I love this product coz it sticks up well, has great compartments to host my non-scratch and heavy duty scrubbers, my OXO brush that I use to scrub the sink and also the small Dish Liquid (where the long handle brush is shown). My complaint is that debris sometimes collects in the left brush compartment and a sticky film tends to form inside, specially on the rubber insulated parts. It requires regular cleaning. I had not been so regular in between and now have black patches on the rubber insulation which are not getting cleaned up even by vigorous scrubbing. I find the design really handy so shall keep it, but will make it a point to clean and dry it out once every 2-3 nights.

Great at the beginning... but...

I loved this product at the beginning, because it looks very nice, and I din't have problems at all with the grip.... but, after a few months of use, I discover a very unpleasent smell in my sink, and I started to investigate what it was.. I thought is was the sponge, but I replaced it several times and the smell persisted.. until I found out, it was the caddy. The plastic trade or the rub material started to develop mold, I've tried to clean it regularly, but the smell continued, I had to throw it away.

I agree with the other user on here about the vaseline. Quite a while ago I bought this and I could never get the suction cups to stay on, so I took it back. I couldn't find a different caddy that looked this nice though, and I saw the reviewer mention using vaseline. So I gave it a shot and bought it again, after using the vaseline this time, this thing isn't going anywhere, stays on solid and looks great, thanks for the advice!

Vaseline the suction cup before you put the product in place and it will stick to the point you will need to do P90X before you can remove it.

I have been really happy with this product since doing so.

Maybe I am lucky, but I don't have any of the problems that were mentioned in the other reviews. I installed it, and it have not moved a bit since I put there 2 months ago. Additionally, the items I put in it were quite heavy. Instead of just brushes and sponges, I actually use it for a full size dish detergent and liquid hand soap. I do not have problems of the caddy slipping or falling off. I am really happy because my sink is now very organized and I don't need to waste my countertop space.

This sink caddy is great! I read the other reviews about the suction cups not sticking to their sink, but I have luckily not had that problem. Since I purchased it, it has never fallen down!! I would definitely recommend this product because simple human is a great brand that makes great products!

I love the concept but the product WILL NOT stay in place. I hang it up with the bar and the suction cups and it falls down again within hours. Unfortunately I threw the box away or I would be returning this. Don't waste your money on this item.

A Good Gift

At first I was a little preturbed to receive this gift. I was afronted that someone felt I needed to organize my sink. Needless to say, I was easily won within the week. The excess water drains in the sink and there is nothing to cleanup like my previous caddy (that didn't drain). Can you say mildew? Yuck.
The suction cups are very strong and hold up the caddy well under heavy sponges and brushes. The only setback to this product is that the insert (where the sponges sit) has come out of its place within the caddy once, but other than that -- it's great!
