For the price, and the material, I expected this to be much better at helping to keep the heat away. They are pretty to look at, but they don't perform.

It is a very nice oven mitt. However, I have small hands and have a hard time grasping pans with it.

These are nice oven mitts. They keep heat out well. The only problem I've encountered is that they are kind of hard to grasp things with. I wish they had a snugger fit to my hands.

Better than the Ove Glove!

I bought these as a gift for one of my sisters because I had previously gotten her the Ove Gloves and she's just about worn them out. I have the same Ove Gloves and found that, while they fit great and dexterity is maximum with them, I would still feel the heat through them. Not so with these new silicone gloves. No heat leaking through at all and they protect your wrists as well as the Ove Glove and maybe even better. Love these! The only drawback with them is that they are a little large (even for my large hands) and they slip around on your hand a little when using them. Otherwise, these are the best things I've ever found for preventing burned hands. :)
