This gazebo was rather easy to put together and looks very pretty. However, it will not withstand moderate winds. We had it up one day and night when the winds picked it up and carried over the house. It was demolished and unrepairable. So follow the directions about leaving it up in the wind.

Great gazebo for the price

We all love our gazebo. We used it for 3 years, loosening the sides for strong storms only (you don't have to take the top off completely), so it doesn't fly away. For winter just take off the top and stote it in a dry place. I am buying another one this year and with the coupon it comes to $80! Cannot beat it, even if you look for a used one. You can decorate it with vines of grapes or other plants, put lights around it, use the shelves for BBQ equipment etc. Don't hazitate, just get it and enjoy the summer!

This is my second one of this style, I live in the pacific northwest so a lot of rain & mold some snow. Just use a little common sence and don't let the snow build up on it, also try to keep it partially protected from the wind. I would like to be able to buy just the replacement cover.

I have had one of these on my deck for years and it is great product. The canopy stays up in winter but we have no snow so the load is light. The metal is well coated and no real rust problems so far. I just purchased another one for the other end of my deck and see no reason why it won't last years as well. You can buy new canopies for them online at one website but if you wait till the end of the summer season you can buy the whole thing for less (<$100.00) than the new canopy.

My canopy was torn to pieces by the wind. It broke my heart as it was almost brand new....
I cannot believe that BB&B does not sell a replacement canopy.
After drilling holes into my deck to secure the frame it is disappointing that I cannot simply replace the canopy.
DO NOT BUY! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

This is the 3rd season I will be using my gazebo. It does need to be taken down, at least the top part when the wind picks up and obviously when there are strong storms. I think I definitely got my $$'s worth with this gazebo! This might be the last season I can use it, but for $120.... 3 years out of it! I'm happy! I will buy another one.

I have had this gazebo for over 2 years, It is a good item(not great). Will last if the owner uses common sense in obvious situations(wind and rainstorms). Disassembly/storage is recommended in the offseason. Would recommend this to anyone who can place it in a location that has at least a partial wind block. NOT OUT IN THE OPEN.

This gazebo was placed over a bridge which goes over my koi pond. It looks fantastic. Unfortunately, after wind and rain it doesn't hold up...torn after one summer and BB & B doesn't sell replacement tops. I purchased a different top, but due to the design of the posts, any other canopy doesn't fit. Therefore I would not recommend it, as it isn't worth the cost. I may as well put up a pop up tent for one summer if I have to replace it. BB & B should either sell the tops or stop selling the entire thing. I believe they should cover the cost to replace it as well. At least partially.

This worked great for sun protection. But it is poorly designed and holds water on all four sides even with the velcro ties and grommets (in the wrong place/not enough). After every rain we had to lift the edges to drain the drooping puddles. It stretched and after one season the sun-faded fabric became brittle and tore. Tried to order a generic canopy replacement on ebay but it was the wrong size/slope and because it wasn't tight enough to hold the framework together, the framework was ruined in a heavy rain, in addition to the replacement canopy tearing. One season use maximum if you get rain.

When I put up this gazebo I fell in love with it. It was at a great price and was very easy to put up. However it only last half way through the summer. We had a rain storm and it completely torn this gazebo apart. After calling the store to see if I could purchase parts (that were destroyed) I was told that they could not sell pieces to me. I was very disappointed because I really like this gazebo. I have contemplated if I would purchase another one this year but decided that it is not worth the money after all.

Not worth it if you live in the North

I bought this last year & put it on my deck. It was wonderful at first, however, once it rained, the canopy did not drain properly & the weight of the water bent the metal poles. We tried to have them welded back together but the welder told us the metal was too thin & would not hold.
The primary problem is that the velcro connections which should keep the canopy taught just ripped off under the weight of the water & the strong winds. Once they ripped, the water just puddles.
One other thing... last year whem the canopy ties first ripped, I called BB&B and asked for a replacement canopy (I will willing to pay for it). They didn't have one, nor could they order one. The whole thing was quite a dissapointment.
I will say that if you live somewhere without lots of rain, this might work well.

I got one of these gazebos last year and love it! The price is super, the assembly easy, loved the shelves, decorative corners, quality, and hangers for hanging plants. it fit my patio perfect. I'm hoping to get another one to put out in the yard where I can actually stake it down and not have to worry about it. I did hang plants on the corner hangers but if it's not staked down, like anything, will blow over. I love this gazebo and I think it's a great deal.
