Changed My LIFE!

I bought this on a whim. I suffer from spinal metastases and have had several compression fractures in my spine. Being comfortable while sitting is difficult and uncomfortable even in the best of circumstances; put me on a plane or in a car for a long trip, and I can be stiff and miserable in moments. Long, social meals in restaurants? Not very enjoyable when I am in so much pain. This simple, very inexpensive, light-weight item made my recent plane travel COMFORTABLE! I was able to sit in a restaurant with friends for a three-hour meal without needing pain medication. I feel like I have my life back. If you're a family member or friend with back issues, don't worry about buying one for yourself; you're getting it for Christmas!

I hurt my back doing too many stupid things (like I used to be able to do when I was young) and none of my chairs at home have good lumbar support. I found this back support in a BB&B store and thought, "what the heck." My gosh. I can't believe how comfortable it is.

I only give it 4 stars because of the bungee cords that I have to keep track of, although honestly I haven't used them yet. I've moved this support from a kitchen chair to a recliner and even used it as a knee support in bed to ease the pressure on my lower back. I will be taking it to the car next.

I think it would probably get more support if I messed with the bungee cords, but it helps a lot even without. The instructions are not at all clear on how to use the bungees.

I have tried every type of office chair and/or back support pillow. Nothing seemed to help. Then last year I purchased this back support. I really didn't think it would help, but I figured for 10 bucks it was worth a shot. What a surprised. It works!! It was the only product that has worked for me. It is easy to install and stays put once installed. I already purchased a spare, just in case these go out of production. Give this a try, I think you too will be surprised.

This item is superb for posture. Prevents slouching and lazy ab muscle. Use in car. Also used for neck support when napping on a 2 hour road trip. (no-I was not driving!)
Bought a posture cushion first, but returned that item for this. Hands down worth the $.

A good back support

I like this back support - the mesh has some give while the outer supporting frame seems to be fairly sturdy. The only thing I didn't like was that one of the bungee cords broke, not long after I purchased the support, while I was readjusting the support on my computer chair.

Long story short - we now have three of these, and I need another one. My husband and I each have one on our office chair, where we sit all day. And he has one in the car - a life saver when he is on the road all day in 100 degree heat with no air conditioning! Greatly reduced back pain from sitting in the same chair all day, and my husband isn't sweaty and uncomfortable in the car anymore!
