I purchased this heater a few months ago, and I have to say I was a little unsure due to one or two reviews I read but once I used it, I must say it's one of the best heaterers/fans I've ever purchased for work. It fits perfectly under the desk and not only does it keep me warm it keeps my co-workers warm :)

This is really only useful if you are heating a 1 foot by 1 foot space. The low heat setting is effectively useless, and on the high heat setting, only the space immediately in front of the fan is warm. So if my feet are warm, my knees are cold. Definitely not what I am looking for.
Sure it's quiet, sure it uses less energy, but I am still cold...

For the price of this 'heater', it ought to provide more HEAT. All it accomplishes is keeping my (preferred) bare feet from freezing when it's on under my desk.
I'd NEVER buy another of these and I think BB&B should be embarrassed to be selling it!

Went into BBB in Orlando today to find this was the only heater they carried, and only a few in stock. I had researched plenty of heaters and found this one was pretty mediocre in comparison, but I figured I'd give it a try. As I lifted the box, I could hear plastic bits tumbling around. Not too sure if this meant multiple parts, I checked the other 2 boxes to find the similar noises and felt content that this was normal. Upon opening the box, I found it was all one piece... with all the parts jumbling around inside of it. All the fan blades had fallen off and were now loose inside the heater (which was later proved to be nearly impenetrable without breaking bits off or ruining the warranty) and rendered the heater inoperable. Even if it did work, I would never trust this thing to not break itself upon operation. It's clearly a very poorly made product that I would not recommend, less you have great homeowner's insurance against electrical fire.

I love, love, love my new Vornado personal heater. I was looking for a new one for my cubicle floor because I had a cheap one that was so loud that I was almost embarrassed to have it on. You could hear the wind tunnel from cubes away! I was at BB&B one night and tried out a couple and decided to spend the extra money on the Vornado because it sounded very quiet. And it is! I’ve been using it for a week, and I can barely tell it’s on under my desk… except for the fact that my feet are nice and toasty. It’s a nice small size that heats my whole cube space perfectly. Plus, it doesn’t get hot to the touch like most ceramic heaters. I also like that it shuts off if it's not level on the floor, and it uses 50% less energy than other heaters. Very happy with my purchase!
