I've had this steamer for awhile. After seeing the negative reviews I had to give my opinion. I have hardwood floors in my kitchen . Nothing cleans them better than this steamer.I've tried the swiffer which leaves a chemical residue and streak marks. The steamer leaves them squeaky clean.I have a brand new house with white grout in my kids bathroom and the only thing that cleans it is elbow grease and a little Bon Ami cleanser. I can steam my entire kitchen and family room which is huge and not need to add water.No complaints from me. Love it for tile and hardwood floors.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. I had spent many day and hours reviewing different products that would best suit the person needs that I was buying it for. The first time we took it out of the box it was so tiny, it held very little water to 'steam'. Normally it would be fine but we were trying to steam our tile in our kitche. I dont have a huge kitchen but to try to refill it every 5 minutes was a nightmare. There is no way to get the water out once you are done using it either unless you 'steam' it out. you cannot dump out the remaining water.
We just started with a small area and when we went to turn it off the first time using it, the power button broke. We had to continuously hold it down in order for it to work. Something this expensive should not do that the first time I used it. Luckily I was able to take it back hassel free. Dont buy this product, it is a waste of money!

Maybe my expectations were too high. I expected this to be like a mini power-washer that you point toward a surface and the dirt comes right off. For example in cleaning the grout in my bath, it did loosen the dirt but then I had to apply considerable elbow grease to get it as clean as I wanted. Same with other surfaces. I have not yet tried all the functions. I am recommending the product anyway, with the qualification that you still have to be willing to put in effort to get the desired cleaning effect.

My husband and I ordered this steamer online to clean our 10 year old tile floor. After going over the tile with the provided brush attachment, we realized how totally dirty our floors really were. it was like night and day. We have only had the machine a month, but it has already more than paid for itself. We plan to try to clean our glass shower enclosure next.

We bought this steamer shortly after we bought our new house. Before, the house wasn't upkept very well and the build up of dirt was excessive. We have about 1200 square foot of tile and 800 square foot of carpet.
Let me tell you that this machine is amazing, it cleaned out grout lines with ease (with the tile and grout cleaning attachment)
Next it dominated the master bathroom. And I was VERY disgusted and what is actually cleaned.

Our previously used house feel brand new thanks to this product.
It is rewarding when you can feel and see the clean after your hard work!

This product is so fantastic that I threw away my mop and bucket. My hard to clean floors looked so new. I tried it out for the first time in my bathroom and I just could not believe my eyes when I saw the outcome. . I have had my Haan Multi-Purpose Steamer for a year, and I LOVE IT! It has brought back the nap of my 20 year old house carpet and it's original color. I love using it on my vinyl, stove, toilets, tile, tub & showers. It has brought the dust levels to a minimum in my house. As well as, the pet hair/dander from my 30 pound cat! The only thing I do not love is the cord storage. The holder of the storage compartment never held well and has broken off. The only other negative is that the extended handle does not stand on its own, you will need to prop it, if not put in a closet. All in all a great product! We even have gotten one to use in our dental office!
