I loved the look of this dispenser and it being only $!9.99 you would think, "great deal". But, no. it leaks. I went to buy the Del Sol (same brand) in another 1.5 gallon dispenser and it too leaked! I think it's best to get plastic dispensers because they do not leak.

Used it for several parties with only a very thin stream of liquid coming out, until the nozzle finally broke off by the 4th use. Returned it. I guess it's worth it to get one of the $50-60 ones.

I bought the FIRST one and when I filled it with a beverage the valve leaked all over the place and I had to return it. The SECOND one I got, the liquid leaked out where the gaskets were supposed to be. There was only one on the inside and I had to improvise to created a second gasket. When we tighted the valve back up, the glass cracked. Now I have to return the second one.......very disappointed.

I bought this product just yesterday, on short notice, to serve homemade eggnog at a family gathering. I saw many of the bad reviews mentioned leaks around the spigot, but others pointed out that this can be tightened. As it looked fantastic and fell in my price range, I took the chance. I couldn't be more pleased! The glass is thicker than I expected, it's not as fragile as I feared, and it worked PERFECTLY for dispensing the eggnog. Everyone asked where I got it and were amazed by the price. I'm fairly sure my local Bed Bath and Beyond will be sold out of these by tomorrow.

You would think I would check for leaking with only water over a sink BEFORE I filled it with lemonade after reading the reviews, but I wasn't that smart. The problem was easily fixed, but only tightening didn't do the trick. It seems that BOTH gaskets were on the same side instead of one on each side. After that fix, the one time I used it was successful. Don't know about the next time........

I have went through 4 of these. First one the wrought iron stand was wobbly, second one the spigot leaked. The third one I had my lemondade in it and was stirring gently. The glass was very thin in a place and the stirrng hitting the side busted a hole in in and I had sticky lemonde pouring all over my floor this was minutes before quests arrived. The 4th one last a year, I dont use if often but noticed the spigot was a little hard to turn after a couple of uses. Last week one of my guests came up to me and handed me the handle of the spigot that had broken off in his hand. If you plan to use this item but something different, it is cheap and poorly made. Spend the money on a better one if there is such a thing

I have to say I've never written one of these, but after reading what people are saying I feel I need to stick up for this little guy. I received this as a wedding present over a year ago and used it for the first time this past weekend. I loved it! We put some lemonade with real lemons in it and everyone thought it was great. I had no problems with the spicket, and mind you it's been in a box on my shelf for over a year. Even the little kids had no problem with it. If the spicket is leaking, then it's probably loose and needs to be tightened a little or you put it on wrong. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but it's not as bad as most everyone else is saying. I definately would recommend it.

I never leave reviews but after seeing the horrible reviews that this product has received I felt I needed too! I have two of these dispensers and they both work great! I have never had a problem with either of them. The first time that I used it I didn't "test" it out before before putting my actual drink in it. It did leak but all you need to do is tighten the screw cap on the spigot. I have never had a problem since! Great product and I would 100% tell all of my friends to purchase this product!

I found this at the store and when I took it to the register, I realized there was something loose in the box. The spigot wasn't attached. So I walked back and chose another one. Got it home and either the jar or the stand wasn't level and the jar sat crooked in the stand. So I returned it and got another one, and it leaked. Took it back and got another one and the spigot dripped the beverage out slowly. Took it back and the saleslady confessed that they have lots of problems with them and advised me to not waste my money on another one. So, I just got my money back. There's a reason it's such an inexpensive product.

While this looks lovely and we were very excited to use it on our countertop as a cold beverage dispenser, it leaks! We received the first one as a wedding gift. When I filled it up with water and placed it on the stand, water gushed from the top side of the outer spigot. Took it back, purchased another. This time water leaked from the bottom of the spigot. Giving up--finding another brand.

We received this item as a wedding gift after requesting it on our bridal registry. The first time we used it the spout broke so we had to use the replacement, which is rubber. It looks great, but it's not very functional. I would not recommend this product.

The spout flows too slowly, and there is no way to adjust it. Plus, the spout is placed about 3 inches up the side of the jar, so that's about 1/3 of the liquid you can't get to without tipping the whole jar. There is no rubber seal on the lid, so it slides around if you do tip the jar. This product is proof you get what you pay for.
