Nice and long, quality mat covers entire tub bottom. Previous reviews mentioned color is more gray/white than pure white and this is true but this is not a problem.

Initial Disappointment

The website says this is "machine washable" and "latex free" but the package and insert say "surface wash only" and "Made with Natural Rubber". The machine washability was one of the main reasons for the purchase, but we'll have to see how well it holds up. I like the feel of it, but I hope it doesn't trigger my latex allergy.

we received this mat and took it back because it looked very off white compared to our spotless bath tub. we bought another and it still looked "dirty", so we decided against it completely. if it were a true bright white we would have kept it, but ended up disappointed.

Superior Quality Product!

After a recent fall in my old, cast iron bathtub, I tried 2 other products prior to this one. This mat worked perfectly! I wet the bottom of the tub and it stuck like glue, during my entire shower; even with water and hair conditioner all over it, there was no feeling of slipping. The flat bottom was very comfortable to stand on for awhile, as I have ultra sensitive feet. Out of the box, it had a faint odor as most new products do, however it was gone in a day; I'm very sensitive to smells, so this is saying a lot! I hang it outside of the tub to dry, when I'm done, since there is really no way to get around having black mold grow on its underside if left in the wet tub all day or night. It's made quite well, a heavy weight, and this helped it to lay down flat 100% during its first use, unlike some that keep curling up on the ends. I'm keeping this one!

It didn't have a strong odor as others have mentioned. Sticks to tub very well, dries off easily. Use it when our toddler takes a bath and he hasn't complained. Dries quickly hanging from the towel bar. No stains or mildew so far.

I bought this mat 6 months ago to replace a previous mat I had for 4 years. It held up so poorly! I wash it once a week and still the mold builds up. Definitely not worth the money! Do NOT purchase this item!!!!

This rubber bath mat is heavy duty and thick. Its not thin and cheap by any means. Its nice and long and covers basically my entire tub floor, which is awesome! Theres tons of the little suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place too. Its easy to clean in the washing machine and its a good value for the money.

We haven't washed it in the machine yet, but it seems comfortable and sturdy enough. It doesn't collect hair or soap scum like the one at my in-laws' house. I was skeptical at first because I never grew up with a mat, but my husband really wanted one. After almost slipping and falling in the shower a couple mornings, we took the plunge. So far, so good. We're washing it this weekend, so I'll try to remember to update.

As a new home owner I have been spending quite a lot of time shopping here. With so many people focusing on buying "Green" I have found a great selection at the this one-stop shop.

On my quest to design my bathroom with the environment in mind, I recently purchased a great shower curtain and this eco friendly bath mat. I was happy with this mat because it came packaged, which is unlike how I sometimes see mats in the stores. Because white can get scuffed, and I am a germaphobe I was glad that it was wrapped inside of the box.

Since this was my first mat made with natural rubber, I wasn't sure what to expect. But, similar to previous bath mats I used some Mr. Clean to clean it off and to get rid of the new rubber smell. I was happy that the dimensions of this mat fits my tub entirely, and now I won't have to worry about exposed areas for anyone slipping.

Good buy for the money!

I was looking for a long mat that would cover most of the bottom of the bathtub; that wouldnt have a horrible smell; and that had a hook to hang the mat for drying. I was really happy to find the Eco-friendly rubber bath mat online that seemed to have everything I was looking for...Until I received it in the mail. The mat was a longer version than the standard mat, but it smelled terrible and it took over a week before the smell was even tolerable. But the biggest draw back for me was that there was no hook for hanging to dry as described in the product description. I could have bought a simular long mat, that didnt have a drying hook, and that reviewers said had a smell, for less money...but that isnt what I wanted. Not very happy with this purchase!
