This drainer was purchased out of necessity - no counter space. Mine has not rusted yet, but I have experienced the problem of not being able to fit enough silverware into the holder.

I would try to get something else that fits your need, as this one will probably not meet your expectations.

bad choice for a dish drainer. If they had just put the silverware divider up all the way, the silverware would not.fall over so you can get it out. I absolutely hate it. I would have taken it back but my son threw away the receipts and the wrapping.

Within a month's time I too had rust on rack. I never dried mine either, but come on, it's meant to get wet and to have dishes drip dry. I am planning on returning it this week for another brand. Don't waste your money on this junk !!!

I love this dish drainer! We got it a little over a year ago, and it's still great! No real rusting what so ever... I love the size, it's not too big or too small... just perfect. I love the style as well something a little than what you're use to seeing.

It rusts quickly

I bought one, and it rusted almost totally after a few months of use. I just put dishes on it. No corrosive detergent or any other unusual things. Just dishes, although not wiped dry. But, a "drainer set" is supposed to be able to handle wet dishes, right?

BBB was nice enough to exchange it for a brand new one for me. But that one also developed rust within a few months. I just gave up. I am going to use a different rack.
