Our very old Corning crock-pot needed to be replaced (temp dial broke off). Since Corning left this business long ago, this was our replacement choice.
I love it!! Just made a pork roast in it and it was perfect. Wish I had replaced my old one long ago!!

I haven't been able to produce a good piece of meat out of my old crock-pot for some time. I thought it was something I was doing wrong not realizing that the crock-pot was running way to hot. I read a lot of reviews looking for the best one and this pot was the winner.
It was easy to program and I had one of the best pot roast I have had in a long time. So tender I had a difficult time getting it out of the pot. No more dried out meat.
I am very happy with the pot and can't wait to try more recipes.

This was a Christmas gift for my Mother-n-law. I read reviews on a lot of different ones. Most of them had good and not so good reviews. She needed a nice large pot and a programmable timer. I ended up purchasing this one. It is a very attractive appliance and best of all......she loves it!

I bought this Slow Cooker online because this model was not carried in the store and I wanted a new programable model. It shut itself off four times in three hours when heating soup, while I was testing it. Could never trust it when I am not home. I finally gave up and plugged in my ten year old $15 slow cooker, it worked just fine.

I noticed there were a lot of negative reviews on here, and that baffles me! I absolutely love this crock pot! It does get a little hot on the outside, but not any hotter than any other crock I've owned. The touchscreen works wonderfully and the food cooks very evenly. The fact that it turns to warm after cooking is a lifesaver for me!! My sister and mom both bought one after seeing mine, and both love it as well!

Excellent value

I have been considering on buying a slow cooker and after much "shopping" around as well as reading tons of reviews, this slow cooker won my vote. I do agree that the touchscreen is wonderful and yes it's sensitive (but at least you don't have to twist the nob off!). Yes the outside does get hot but it's just like my oven, I wouldn't just open my oven without wearing gloves. as for the actual cooking, it really is wonderful, my recipes come out exactly the way they are supposed to.
And to those still wondering if it's a good value, trust me, i looked online for this slow cooker and found many sites offering them, the rival site is the most expensive, amazon was mid range but Bed Bath & Beyond had the best price! Therefore this was a no-brainer for a purchase!

Works great! Love the size. I just wish the touch screen was not as sensitive. Overall good product for the money.

One Big Problem

I like this overall, it cooks well and replaced a Rival CrockPot I wore out over about fifteen years. The handle on the lid got very hot, however, and one day finally just melted. It attached with a screw, and when I called to see if I could get a replacement, they would not sell me a replacement handle but would only sell me a replacement lid for over twenty dollars plus shipping. My lid is in fine shape. I was pretty angry that they wanted me to trash a big piece that was fine and pay that much for a replacement part I thought defective anyway. I replaced it with a kitchen cabinet doorknob (had to shorten the screw) and it works fine otherwise.

I purchased this crock pot about a year ago and loved it. I encourage my sister to get the same one last week. She used it for the first time this week and had a very short power outage (about a minute). Unfortuantely this crock pot turned off and did not come back on! Need to change the way it is made.

worst crockpot I've ever owned

I thought that with the fancy look it would be a great crockpot, but it’s the worst crockpot that I've ever owned. The sides and handles get extremely hot and when you touch it even it can cause serious burns. The "LCD" display/control is useless. You have to turn the entire thing off in order to increase/decrease times or change settings from high/low/warm. Once the crockpot hits the designated time a beep goes off and continues to beep until you turn the entire crockpot OFF instead of going into Warm (quietly). I would NOT recommend this and wish I could return it.

So far meatloaf first meal was very good. Yes the out side does get hot. But I think that is normal. Never done a review before now but when I tried to check on this crock ,there was very few reviews. So I took my chance and bought it, so far I'm happy.

I bought this slow cooker about 10 months ago and it has worked flawlessly. I use it 3-4 times a month and everything I've made in it has cooked perfectly. The programming is easy and allows for heating on either high, low or warm in 30 minute increments. I've talked about it so much that two of my friends have bought this model. It also looks beautiful on my counter. I highly recommend this slow cooker.

Don't buy it

I purchased this to replace my Rival Crock-Pot that burned out after 6 years. The exterior of this unit becomes very hot while cooking and can burn you. After 8 hours on low, my pot roast was rock hard and the vegetables were crunchy. I'm taking it back. The heat should be on the inside, not the exterior.

Awesome Slow Cooker

This crock-pot is awesome! I love the countdown of time, the flexibility of choosing a time to cook with in 30 minute increments and the short time it takes to heat up. The last crock-pot I owned took an hour to heat up to temperature and the food didn't start really cooking until hours later. With this cooker, I smelled the food cooking within less than hour! Also, it's made very durable and looks gorgeous on my countertop.
Rival has really outdone themselves with this one. I have already recommended this product to people.
