I bought this hair dryer when my old one suddenly stopped working and I had to be at work in less than an hour, so I didn't do much research beforehand. I just liked that it had a retractable cord.

i am going on 4 1/2 years now and it's worked great. Sometimes the attachments fall off in transit, but no big deal since it's usually in my luggage. I like the settings, I don't like my dryer to be too hot. Retractable cord is nice, although my cord usually gets all twisted so it requires some maneuvering before retracting the cord.

I would not recommend this hair drier to anyone who needs to straighten medium to thick hair. It is just not strong enough. Also, it is not easy to turn on/off with one thumb and the drier itself is heavy. I liked the diffuser, but that is about it.

I have curly thick hair and yes it worked great with the diffuser and fast - that is when it worked. It died after 6 months. 2 of which I spent tappping it on the counter to get it to restart. The retractable cord is handy but you can't hang up the dryer anywhere or put it in a storage without yanking off the diffuser. A hook on any hair dryer is useful. My warranty is out and am looking for another dryer. My previous $100 dryer with the same daily use lasted for 5 years. I guess you get what you pay for.

I love this hair dryer! I have somewhat thick hair and it usually takes a while for it to dry, but with this blowdryer it takes half the time. It's powerful! I have curly hair which I can also straighten so the attachments are perfect for me! The retractrable cord is also very handy! The cord doesn't get tangled and in the way at all. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat!

Not proper for hair straightening

I was disappointed with this hair dryer because the on/off switch was place way below where my hand holds the dryer and I had to use both of my hands: one hand to hold it and another hand to turn it on or off. I've had other hair dryers that were easy to turn on/off with one thumb, not two hands. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend this hair dryer to those who uses it for straightening their hair while drying.
