Very easy to set up and get going. We use it for parties and typically have it running for 3 - 5 hours at a time with no issues. My only complaints are the fountain is rather noisy and the clean up... but that is to be expected for a fountain in this price range without a removable base.

I followed the enclosed instructions and was initially very pleased with its performance. The chocolate flow was beautiful. However, after 20 minutes the fountain started to make a screeching sound and the gears quit turning. I immediately turned off the unit and investigated. Hoping perhaps a piece of food was lodged in the gear. There was nothing. The unit just stopped working. I pulled out the instruction booklet and noticed there was NO CONTACT NUMBER FOR THE MANUFACTURER. Very disappointed.

This was exactly what I wanted - small, easy set-up, easy clean-up and easy fun. I gave it to my boyfriends family as a gift and it was a hit. It ran all Christmas day without a problem. The chocolate that spilt was easy clean up once it dried, considering they have a messy 4 year old. We put nacho cheese in and it worked as well. I would only caution that the little motor gets slightly annoying as the day goes on, and that some chocolates made for fondue machines won't need you to add oil like the machine says to. Other than that try to not eat too much chocolate!

I was hesitant to purchase this after all the bad reviews, but had no other option. I set it up and it seemd flimsy and cheap construction; but for the price I did not expect much. I read all instructions and researched on line how to prepare and use a chocolate fountain. I learned more from online advise including that running the chocolate through for a few minutes it is necessary to turn the unit off for 1-2 minutes in order to alleviate the bubbles and vibration.

Initially the chocolate was too think and clumpy so I poured some oil right in it as the machine was on. It mixed well and worked flawlessly for 4 hours!

My only advice is to purchase real chocolate and not the "chocolate candy melts" that many stores sell- they are disgusting!

We received this for a wedding gift and were very excited to use it for the first time at a family dinner this weekend. Explicitly followed the directions that came with it for easy set up and for melting the chocolate chips. Poured the chocolate into the base as directed and it started to flow but then IT MELTED the plastic pieces and the auger. Very disappointed with this product.

Excellent product. Smaller than some other chocolate fountains, but really the perfect size with all the features. Easy to make fondue with choc chips and oil, also features heater that can be running independently of motor. That way chocolate stays warm when not flowing. Ran for extended period of time (hours) without trouble. Also easy to clean as all parts come apart. Overall great buy, especially for the price!

I just bought this for the holidays and have already used it three times. Very simple to put together. I love that it used chocolate chips instead of the expensive Wilton chocolate. My family loved using it especially all the kids. We used fresh pineapple , 3 kinds of apples sliced up, bananas, kiwis, strawberries, large marshmallows, pretzels, pound cake & angelfood cake cubes. We also tried using melting caramels in the microwave, thinning well with cream first . It worked fine in the fountain. Looking forward to a little Baileys in the chocolate next time the adults get together. Would definitely recommend this item ,especially for the price!

I bought this for my 10 year old party. It Works great, excellent value. The heater plate(bowl) does not get real hot and that made me a lil sceptical after reading other reviews. If you follow the directions pre heat plate and melt chocolate it works great. I didnt add enough oil at first so I just add a lil oil to base and watch it thin the chocolate out. Party of 6 boys use two lbs of chocolate ran machine for about 4hours non stop, not a single issue. Clean up is super easy, just add some more oil which thins it out more. Stop motor and pour it into bag immediately(do not put in drain when it cools it clumps up hard can block drain) 99% comes right off. Wash parts in hot water comes off super easy. Wipe machine with warm soapy cloth. Easy as washing dishes..Great product great price...........
