i would recoment this coffee maker it is fast and you can sneak a cup fefore the brew is done and it wont drip everywear... it makes great coffee i have had mine for two years with everyday use. it doenst burn your coffee and it also keeps warm and fresh for a long time so when the other people in the house wake up the coffee is still hot and fresh ... i drink a lot of coffee and i have gone through many makers this one is the best!

Beautiful but Defective!

I had my coffee pot for 3 years. It 's design is beautiful! However, after a year, the coffee began to spill all over the counter while the pot was brewing. I called the manufacturer and they told me that the lid on the carafe sometimes gets jammed with grounds. They immediately sent me a new lid. However, the problem reoccurred, so the second time it happened, I tried cleaning it with a small tool. That worked for a little while, but I had to clean it more and more frequently. Finally, I gave up because I was tired of cleaning up the mess.

Only lasted a year and a half

I don't mind paying extra for a quality product. This coffee maker worked great but quit after only a year and a half. Yes we make a pot almost every day but it should have lasted longer than that. As long as I'm complaining, the water level window is only on the right side. Having it on both sides (like a $20 Mr Coffee) would be better.

New Coffee Maker

Not impressed. Does not stay on, has auto turn off when brewing is done. "Auto Programing" doesn't include amt of time you can turn off. Yes thermal pot keeps it hot for a good while, but NOT as hot if warmer plate was on. Messy drip. I'd return it, but hubby who makes the coffee says it's OK.
