I have purchased many mattress protectors in the past at this store that range anywhere from $15-30 & they have all done a great job. But I thought I would invest the money & buy an $80 (Full size) waterproof mattress protector to ensure a very expensive mattress. Well, after having a child wet the bed one time the mattress which had 4 layers of bedding on it got stained!!! I have never had a problem with any other mattress protector before. I will stick to buying the cheaper plastic ones. This product is definitely not worth the investment & does not do what it says!!

fragile & quickly ripped

The fabric was comfortable, but not the least bit sturdy. I haven't even tried washing this yet and it ripped just on the bed. I won't be bothering with a replacement from this brand. In the past, I've had good results from both Mission Allergy and the higher-priced covers from Aller-Ease.

I purchased this mattress protector about a year ago, as well as a few pillow and pillow cases. They helped so much with my allergies and bed bugs that I bought a set for my mother last month. These products are truly amazing. Not only do they offer top notch protection, but they add sophistication and style to my old Colonial home. If you want a sheik hypoallergenic product, fully equipped with bed bug protection, Allergy Luxe in my option is the best on the market!

Great protector. heavy duty, none better, worth it

I'm not sure about the other person's review- perhaps she didn't follow directions. I've had this product on all our beds for years, and just bought a new one for a new bed- Still fantastic. It fits wide beds with huge pillow tops, it's the toughest allergy barrier. Nice ZIpper, ZERO noise with it (so you don't hear it crinkle). NO smell. Safe product, from what we can see no PVC like others.

But, you should follow the washing instructions- it needs a low heat setting. It's not a cotton sheet!

the cover seemed sturdy but the first time I washed it and dried it it completely feel apart. I didn't know there was a lifetime warranty so I threw it out. I wish I had brought it back to the store....annoying now I need to buy another one and they are expensive! sucks.
