Sink Strainer combines sleek stainless steel with flexible, stain-resistant silicone. The easy-to-clean silicone basket traps food debris to prevent clogs, and when it's time to empty, silicone strainer easily flips inside out. The stopper clicks into place so it won't slip and clog up the drain. Silicone underside won't scratch your sink. Dishwasher safe.

Stopper is very hard to seat.

The stopper is very hard to get seated in the drain. There is no positive signal to tell you that it is engaged. When you do get the drain stopped the seal is likely to fail after a minute or two, allowing all the water to run out.

My old strainer was broken, so I purchased this one. It works great. However, sometimes it's hard to get it to work the way I want it to. For example, it may act as a stopper even when I want the water to drain through. But it catches everything and I'm pleased.

This does an excellent job catching food particles before they head down the drain but it is tricky to use as a stopper to fill the sink which is the main reason I bought it. If I still had the receipt it would go back to the store. It is not worth the extra money.

I like them, but...

The only complaint i have is that the lip is a little thick and the remnants have to be coerced into the strainer sometimes. There is no problem with it blocking the drain when you don't want, which is the problem I had with the last ones I bought.

Have had this for over a year now and it's THE BEST sink drainer I've ever purchased... Best feature is the flexible interior, makes it a WHOLE LOT easier to remove the "nasty's" left behind after washing a sink full of dishes. I also love the fact that the holes are just the right size so almost everything gets caught w/o causing the sink to get stopped up & overflow... If you haven't bought it already, BUY IT NOW!!! You won't regret it...

I have used the stainless steel mesh ones, but they don't stay in place so food goes down the drain anyway. This one is great because it usually stays in place and catches the food. It is also easy to empty.

Best strainer I've ever seen

All our other strainers were made of metal mesh. While they did catch food particles, they were not easy to clean & seemed to always get bent out of shape. Cheese would melt when you ran hot water & get stuck in the mesh forever. I bought this strainer specifically because I got tired of having nasty old cheese stuck in the strainer. I've not had anything stuck to the silicone yet, & I've had it for a while. It's very easy to clean & looks very nice in our stainless sink. It is very well designed & made.

I have nother strainer made of mesh, and the food particles do not come out unless run through the dishwasher. This one can be easily wiped with a sponge or cloth. It doesn't hold as much stuff as the mesh, but it's worth it for the convenience.

Excellent strainer. Doesn't clank around in drain opening because the back is silicone as well. Only downside is that it is a little more difficult to clean/empty in trash because of the soft silicone basket, as well as the larger holes have a tendency to have food "stick" in them - but nothing a good shake, a few taps and a quick paper towel wipe won't take care of.
