This fingerprint proof stainless steel 38-liter step-on can has a solid steel bar pedal for easy opening. Step can features an integrated carbon filter to absorb odors, and a pedal-activated lid with lid shox™ for slow and quiet closing. The hinge is internal so that it can fit flush against the wall, and the Smart Bucket® bag change system has a removable inner bucket. Can even has a lock mechanism to keep the lid open for extended chores. Measures approximately 19.2" W x 14" D x 24.9" H. Model # CW2000. Uses Code N bin liners. Ten-year warranty.

We've had this trashcan for about a month now and I have to say it is our favorite can ever! Not only is it sleek and beautiful but performs flawlessly with ease. The foot bar mechanism is smooth and top quality. You can open it partially and it will close back quickly, or depress all the way and it will float back down silently.
I like being able to lock the lid open when I am preparing a meal so that I don't have to keep opening it.
It takes a regular tall kitchen bag which is very easy to replace and you don't how to fidget with it so it doesn't show from the outside of the can.
The can holds quite a big of garbage. It's the perfect size for a kitchen! I certainly wouldn't want it to be any larger or smaller. For a family of 2 we end up emptying it about every 3 days. We also recycle.
I know this is a lot to spend on a trash can, but you certainly get what you pay for with this purchase.
I feel like this can will last for years to come. The only thing you must be careful of is not to dent the outside of the can, as with any stainless can.

Sleek look, quiet when shut. Works with all trash liner 12 gallon and up. If the trash bag is too big, just need to tie a not on the side. Believe it or not I use my exsiting 33 gal bag, and it works. 20% coupon can be used for the purchase. Enjoy!

Best Garbage Can EVER!

I have been wanting a stainless steel garbage can ever since my puppy got older. She is a golden retriever and is 2 1/2 years old, and is very smart about pushing the lid up with her nose on the old garbage can. I know the can is costly, but I used the 20% off coupon and I think it was a great investment. I love the look, the slow release of the lid, and way it keeps the odors inside. Everything is great! Splurge for this one, its worth it!

This product is awesome!! It is everything that it is advertised to be. It opens easily, easy to put in liners, very quiet, [Except when my husband who wears a size 14 shoe didn't realize that light a touch was needed to open it and stepped a little hard], fits snuggly against the wall, and looks great! I've used it for about two weeks and there is not a fingerprint on it! I'm loving it. It gets a "5" from me without a doubt!

Barely survived the shipping test. The box was damaged on all sides but fortunately none penetrated enough to reach the contents. The ones you see in the store must get the white glove treatment because those boxes seldom have damage. You'd expect allot for the price and you get a well constructed trash can. Except for the tiny plastic part that holds the lid up when your replacing the bag and such. Gonna have to pamper that switch. For the shock-proof/smooth lid to work as you'd expect you need to get used to stepping on and pressing the bar all the way down and holding it there for a few seconds before releasing it. Last but not least, the 13 gallon Glad bags I've used for years work perfect in this can.
