Very Temperamental

We've had this toaster for about a year, and it's pretty inconsistent. You can cook the same exact items at the same setting, and they will come out differently. Also, it decides to stop working randomly in the middle of cooking-it's very, very sensitive to having crumbs in the bottom. When it stops working, I have to manually remove the toast, as it is all electric and the cancel button becomes ineffective. Then I'll remove the crumbs, and if I'm lucky, I can finish toasting that piece before it stops again. Sometimes it will go months without that issue, others it happens every time, no matter how often we clean it. I would recommend putting your money towards a high-quality, manual toaster.

Never thought I'd Love a Toaster

This was one of my best kitchen purchases. I love it. Solid craftsmanship. Beautiful, functional design. And it works. The simple process of the motor gently lowering you bread is a joy to behold. It toasts quickly and evenly. The peek feature that lifts the toast up for a quick view is very useful as is the cook a bit more button. The countdown lights are also a nice touch. The second my best friend saw this toaster he had to have one. It also feels like it will last a lifetime. Great purchase.

This is a splurge toaster... and worth it! If you are serious about your toast, this is the toaster to get! Plus it looks so cool! It makes perfect toast or bagel and I love the "a bit more" button and the little beep when the toast pops just makes me smile in the morning. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
