I have only used it twice, but both times it chopped onions and pecans just great and it was not too loud like I expected it would be. I need to stop hand-dicing onions and get more use out of this. Overall, I am very happy with it.

This was actually the first food processor I have purchased. I don't have a lot of space, and this little guy fits anywhere! It is surprisingly powerful- my first day using it was for four different pie crusts with ground nuts and it worked great. Easy to take apart and clean. No complaints here!

I had this little guy for a couple of years, but only used it maybe 5 or 6 times. On St. Patrick's Day I was mashing some boiled potatoes when it quit working. I thought perhaps it was 'tired' after two rounds with the soft, warm potatoes, butter, and milk, so I shut it off and put it away. I tried to mash up some avocado for guacamole yesterday, and it still wouldn't turn on. I guess it's officially dead. Too bad, it worked well the other 5 or 6 times I used it. My next food processor will be larger, this little dude was hardly big enough to make it worth the effort of cleaning it.

Prior to making my purchase I read all the reviews and was impressed with all the positive reviews. Well, I was very disappointed when I received my order. Call it rotten luck...when I went to use this for the first time it would Not Work!!! So i thought maybe it was my outlet, so I tried a diffrent one and nothing, dead! Needless to say I returned the product. I purchased a new one but not at BBB, but a diffrent department store, took it home and it worked!

This is wonderful food processor for the money. I have used mine about ten times now on different foods and have not had a bad experience. I only use it on small amounts, clean up is a snap and storing it even better. Put all parts in the dishwasher and no problems.

I am very pleased with this product so far. Resisted buying a processor for years because I felt it wasn't worth losing storage space and the hassle of trying to clean a processor after use. This product cleans as easily as it chops. I have used it for onions (no more tears for me!), veggies, cookies (for baking), slaws......and LOVE it! Such a time saver! Totally worth the money even if for only prepping cookies at the holidays!

I have owned my Cuisinart Mini Food Processor for five years, and it is still going strong! I chop everything from veggies to nuts to meats, and the blade is still sharp as ever. The 4-cup size actually holds quite a bit. It is small and cute and stores easily. I keep mine in the corner of my counter so it is always in easy reach. I put the blade, cup and lid in the dishwasher; I recently noticed that the plastic is getting etched and there are tiny "microcracks" in the plastic, but it has not affected its performance, and after five years of use and DW cleaning I would expect to see this anyway. My blades have not rusted, like one other reviewer mentioned. Very powerful little gadget! Fun to use! Good value! I would definitely buy it again.

My husband loves to show off his knife skills in the dicing department and now he uses this baby for dicing up onions, garlic, tomatoes, etc. Only "problem" I've noticed, after 2 months of using this thing, I'm noticing some rust on the blades already? Not sure what this is about. Other than that, this is a great product for newlyweds or people who need something small to store away

Design Error - Not Good

Good for limited use only. Upon making pumpkin pie, we observed that the motor was spinning but the shaft was not. Upon disassembly [that's what engineers do], we discovered that in order to gear down the motor, Cuisanart used 3 plastic - possibly Nylon - gears to increase the blade torque and reduce the RPM. Cuisanart needs to upgrade the gears either metal of something more substantial in order for the product to last. Going to 3 gears to spread out the wear was a good idea. Despite the bad news above, the item will work great until those gears wear out.
