WOW! I love this tub mat. It's so relaxing. I spent almost 2 hours just soaking in my tub. I also have the shower mat and i believe my hubby was righ,t it was just me because this mat is the same just larger and it feels great. It's easy to clean and it also looks great in my tub and shower.

If I had kept my receipt I would take this back as it scares me to death. The bottom stays firmly in place, but after ther water has gone from the tub and I wipe my body dry while still standing on the mat, it is slippery and very scary! I do not step out of the tub until I am dry so I expect the top to still be safe while I dry off. I have never had this problem with any other mat. If I should fall, it will be dangerous for all involved.However, I am not inclined to use it anymore!@

Every tub mat should be replaced after a period of time. Our current one has held up for about 8 months and will probably last a year. Our last one (different brand and design) only lasted us 4 months. I recenly bought another one but the one we have will probably last us another 4 months at least. Great quality.

Impossible to Clean!

Sorry, but I highly regret this purchase. Part of the problem may be that my shower is set up strangely with the faucet and drain on opposite ends of the tub so that all water must flow under the mat.

Dark mold/mildew/scum/(?) gets trapped under each of the little suction cups, and I have found no easy way to clean the mat besides going in with a wet rag and individually wiping around each suction cup where it attaches to the back of the mat (196 total; I counted).

I've tried soaking it in bleach, spraying with scrubbing bubbles, using a scrub brush, rinsing & letting it hang dry after showers...nothing effective. After 8 months, I finally gave up and bought a dark, opaque mat that won't embarrass me when I have guests, and that doesn't take me 2 hours to clean!

I have had this mat about two months and it is indeed the best one I have used so far. The instructions tell you to rinse the tub mat thoroughly after each use and hang to dry. So far I have not needed to machine wash it and there is no sign of mildew or any sign that it needs further cleaning.
