I have used this pillow since 2002 and I love it. I have had neck and back pain for years until I found this pillow. The fiber padding does tend to get thin after using for awhile, however, if you fill it with enough water it isn't bad. Yes, it does slosh when you pick it up and it is heavy. Those are the downsides, but I won't use any other pillow ever again because I do not have neck pain. These pillows usually last me about 4-5 years before I have to get another one. To me that is well worth the cost. I am so glad that Bed Bath and Beyond is now carrying them.

I bought this pillow based on all the reviews. I have had neck pain for the past year and was desperate to find a reasonably priced pillow. It is very comfortable although I only filled it up about 2 months ago and already feel like I need to put more water in it. It seems to get flat easily. It is sort of loud and quite heavy; my husband gives me a hard time about it. And my neck continues to hurt...bummer!

I purchased this Mediflow water pillow as a last resort after spending $150 on a memory foam pillow that left my neck hurting. All the neck pain that I was experiencing went away with in three days after sleeping on the Mediflow. This was the best $40 I spent for a good night sleep. I read in other reviews that this pillow leaks, well I have not experienced that. Just make sure the cap is tightened. The one downside it's very hard to get all the air out of the pillow so I can hear water sometimes but I would rather get a good night sleep over hearing a swish that puts me to sleep anyway. I definitely recommend this pillow..

Do you know how many years/money I have spent on a mission searching for that perfect pillow, no kinks in my neck and waking up with headaches? Ahhh, the search is over and my wallet is in recovery! Ha.. I bought 2 pillows for me and my husband. The first night, I didn't put enough water in too soft then added more water. Second night, too hard so took water out. Third night, got it right and have slept like a baby since! No kinks, headaches or snoring! My husband loves it as well.
The pillow is heavy so it doesn't move around at night. Since you are unable to flip the pillow just rotate it or flip the pillowcases. It's well worth the investment if you want a good night's sleep. We also have a Select Comfort Bed which is another worthy investment. Now, we have the pillows and the bed for a peaceful night and a refreshing morning!

I have had this pillow for a few months. I wanted a pillow that would support my neck and was considering one of those with the indented center, but came across this one on the internet. I have not used my regular pillows since. By "regular pillows", I mean $65 nice pillows, which we still use as extra snuggle or tv pilows. I let my hubby use my water pillow for a few nights because he was complaining of neck issues and he said he liked it. I was happy to get it back.
It is heavy from the water, so it stays put, unlike regular pillows which tend to make their way toward the headboard so I had to pull them back down and tuck under my neck at least once per night. Also, it bounces back due to bouyancy, so it does not flatten out during the night, so no need to flip it over during the night, which I have always done with regular pillows. By the way, this pillow is not "filippable" since the water pouch and fill spout are on the "back side", however I do rotate it every day.
I purchased a second for my hubby two weeks ago and he has not gone back to his old one yet, so I guess its a winner for him as well. I would give 5 stars if you could flip the pillow.

MY FAVORITE PILLOW EVER

I have neck issues from an injury years ago, that left me with a bad cervical strain and arthritis in my neck. I never thought I would feel so strongly about a pillow, but this one is the BEST I have ever had. Sleeping is hard for me, as I frequently wake up with a sore neck, headaches, etc. I've tried my share of pillows in order to get relief. The most I ever paid for a pillow was $120, for a therapeutic memory foam cervical pillow, and it was great for a while, but eventually I started having issues with it - not sure why. I think I just have to be able to change my neck position from time to time or else the arthritis begins to set in. I went from pillow to pillow, trying to find one that wouldn't leave me with a crick in my neck, and when I found this one, I was skeptical - spend $40 for yet another pillow that will probably end up in the closet, on the ever-growing tower of tried and tossed pillows? I read the reviews here and decided to give it a try, and I am SO glad I did. I LOVE the way the water keeps the pillow just a little on the cool side. I LOVE the way the soft fill and the water dispersement gently cradles my head, and I LOVE the way I can add or empty some of the water from time to time, based on the type of bed I am sleeping on, and which position I find myself sleeping in for the most part (I am generally a side or back sleeper). But this pillow would work for anyone, because you can adjust the height and firmness by adding or reducing the amount of water in the built-in reservoir. Sometimes I just need a little bit of a change anyway, and this pillow makes that possible, It is SO comfortable, when I go to bed every night, I literally have a little moment of happiness knowing that my pillow fits me perfectly. BUY ONE - you won't be sorry, and it's worth every penny!

I bought this pillow for my husband who, for many years, has had severe neck and shoulder pain. He asked me to order it for him- so of course I did. His pain had completely disappeared after about a week of use! He is still thanking me (almost a month later) for getting it for him! I highly recommend this product for anyone who has neck and/or shoulder pain!

After suffering from Migraines almost daily (caused by stress and multiple vehicle accidents due to others neglect) I didn't know what else to do. I decided to search google and stumbled on this product. I felt at that point I had nothing to lose, I had tried multiple medications with ill side effects, different machines probably spend of $2000 just trying to figure a cure for my migraines that would not go away and kept me out of work. I purchased this product hoping it was the cure. I was amazed I started feeling so much better my neck wasn't as sore and wasn't as achy as it usually was prior to. And all together the migraines decreased and now are practically gone!! I would definitely recommend this product, takes a little getting used to but best purchase of my life.
