There's a Zero function that allows for zeroing the scale before adding additional ingredients and an optional backlight that makes display easier to read. Measures in 1/8-ounce (imperial) and 1-gram (metric) increments for greater accuracy. Platform is stainless steel and can be removed for cleaning. With its slim profile, scale can be easily stored. Uses the four included AAA batteries. Measures approximately 11 1/4" L x 8 1/2" W.

Great Scale for the Price

Works really well. The ability to zero out the scale as you add more items is a huge plus. While I never thought I would pull the display out, it comes in very handy with large mixing bowls. No messes yet however would clean up very easy due to flat surfaces. Back light is very nice (glows blue) even in well lighted areas. Sturdy construction compared to many other models my local store had.

A very nice little scale

This scale works great! It measures in fractions (1/2, 3/4, etc.). I’d prefer it measured in decimal figures, but that’s not a big problem. I’d also prefer if the detachable readout piece was held on buy a clip or something stronger than the 2 tiny magnets. It tends to flop off if you’re not careful when handling it. But, over-all it’s a nice little scale.

I didn't have much of an expectation for this product, but registered for it anyway. However, I love it! I use it all of the time. It is reliable and comes apart for easy cleaning. You can change from grams to ounces. It's just a handy tool to have in the kitchen.
