Like my microwave...Couldn't live without!

I know others don't like the top but it works wonders in the microwave! I use this measuring cup not only for measuring oatmeal, sugar, and flour for large cookie batches at Christmas, but also for boiling water, making jello, rice, stove top stuffing, scramble large amt. of eggs, pancake batter, etc. As far as a storage container, I will say the lid needs work as far as sealing in a cold setting. But when in microwave it expands when heated so it has a great seal! I use this almost every day! I love ALL my pyrex measuring cups and dishes!!!!

Love this measuring cup! I also like the rubber lid. I used to have a Pyrex 8- cup but, it didn't come with a lid. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to cook.

Not a good lid

It could just be mine, but this came to me with a dingy stain on the lid, and the lid didn't seal well onto the measuring cup. The whole idea would have been to make too much waffle or pancake mix and keep it in the fridge overnight, but the lack of ability to seal in moisture and keep out odors makes this item ineffective.
