With an automatic sensor, perforated paper towels can be dispensed without touching the rest of the roll. Automatic operation prevents unraveling of towels, and since you don't have to touch the rest of the roll, it's more hygienic. Sensor identifies the perforations on the towels and stops at the exact spot of the perforation for perfect tearing with just one hand. Can dispense standard and half-size sheets. Too Cool for Germs

First of all, it really does work well. Be a little patient at first, you will need to learn how to use it, it doesn't know to use you. Make sure you tear the towels like the directions state. It's great, keeping other towels in the roll from getting soggy, it doesn't go off unexpectedly and it's a germaphobe's dream. It's so high-tech, your friends will be amazed and want one too. No I do not work for the company that sells these and I'm a tough critic on electronics. It's costly just for a paper towel dispenser, but constant use and good performance make it worth the money.

i purchased this papertowel dispenser for my entire new kitchen along with other tech kitchen items...like a push button, drawer microwave. for those who claim to be money conscience, this dispenses only the proper amt. of paper towel eliminating large amts. of un-necessary waste. i luv this item...luv, luv it!

Have we really come to this? I received this as a gift and while I appreciate things that make my life a little easier I really have never been irked by manually obtaining a paper towel. I'm usualy annoyed by these sensor proucts in public restrooms-I have to stand in front of several different dispensers before finding one that works. I have no use for this type of product at home.
