I had read the reviews and this wine opener sounded like the best thing since sliced bread. Out of 10 bottles of wine, it pulled the cork out of 2 as it is intended to do. The rest of the corks were chewed up and I had to use pliers to get ahold of the remaining cork to pull it out. The wine opener has been returned.

This wine opener claims it may not work with newer, rubber corks. In fact, it did not remove ANY cork we tried it on, whether traditional or rubber cork. About all I can say positive is that it drills a decent hole in the cork. Then I needed an old-fashoined corkscrew to manually remove the cork. Forget this item; buy something else.

No more pulling on the cork or wrestling with the bottle- this wine opener makes having a glass of wine effortless. I am an older, single woman who has bad hands and this makes it so helpful when I want to open a bottle. Be sure the opener is straight on the bottle or the bottle spins.

This worked great for the first few months. But now it will not screw all the way into a cork and do the job. Seems to have a full charge but something is wrong. Well what do you do? Have you got a proof of purchase for every $20 item? No it is nuts, just learn not to buy such things I guess. I know I've used up a few high priced corkscrews and I keep hoping that one will last....I guess this one is not a keeper as well.

It is simple to use. It took me a little while to get used to how it operates, but once you figured it out, the product is amazing. Basically you just hold one button the entire time and hold the bottle and the wine opener does the work for you. You don't have to worry about corks breaking as you are trying to get them out of the bottle.

We bought this electronic wine opener about 6 months ago and have only had to charge it twice (once for the initial charge and once more just about a month ago). We are pretty frequent wine drinkers (at least once a week) so it gets a lot of use. It is so easy to use and keeps our corks intact. We like it so much I bought one for my sister as well!

This bottle opener is great! People were skeptical about it because of the price and it's electric..but hasn't failed me yet! It makes it a breeze to open up bottles, I can do it myself! Woohoo! Only downfall is it doesn't have a foil cutter...at least I don't think it does lol.
