These bags are amazing!! Best way to get all air out though is to sit on them, and then finish closing.. You will be amazed. I have tried vaccum bags like this and they never work! These do.. Most husbands will not like these bags, as now you can travel and bring twice as much clothes!! LOL

They were great.I bought tham in florida so I could bring home a pillow from Florida. it would have taken two suit cases. Got it all in one carry on bag saved me money. I gave 1/2 the bags to my sister. she traveles a lot by air.

I've flown 5 times, first time, I checked a bag - $50. Every time after, I've used these bags. Across the country for a week, 15 outfits or more in a mini duffel! These bags are awesome! Never pay to check a bag again!

Roll up Space Bags

I have used the vacuum Space Bags and now the travel roll-up bags. Terrific. My husband & I took a 5 day motorcycle tour and enough mix & match clothing to cover any condition and temperature.
* I was glad to have read the review about sitting on them to expel the air more easily. Great tip!

Some people may not like these bags since they view them as hard to 'roll'. Yes, they may be but....if you slowly sit on them they flatten really well. I love this product and when on long trips they work well. They also help when coming home and you're unable to wash clothes. It keeps the stinky in the bag and not on the rest of your stuff. I am on my way to buy some for my mother since she's going back home with more clothes than she came with when she flew in.

What an incredible product. Some people wrote unkind reviews but thse bags are incredible. I travel a great deal and packing is a royal problem. with the space bags it's a piece of cake, because when I get to the hotel unpacking is a breeze, simply take the bags out and put them away. I leave my clothes in the bag. I just throw worn items in a drawer and when one of the space bags is empty I put all the used close in that bag. On one trip when I got home my wife found 2 bed bugs in one of the bags. Yeah, the hotel had them and when I put my laundy in the space bags they were contained (another big advantage, you don't have to worry about those critters) We got them out and squashed them, then did the laundry, no problem, no bugs. So these bags make organization a breeze, packing for a two week trip possible using one suit case, and protect you from bugs. What's not to like? My ONLY problem was after multiple uses (and I mean a LOT) one ripped and broke. That was a bit of a problem because my things almost didn't fit in the suitcase! Fortunately I have one that zips and expands. So rather than take it on the plane I had to check the bag because it was too big without the space bag. But I'm buying two more sets because I can't be without them.

Travel Space Bags work every time!

These bags work great, if you simply follow the instructions. I have used them on every trip for the past three years. I can easily pack, at least, a week's worth of clothes in a carry-on. I recently did exactly that on a trip to Europe. I had advised my mother to buy the bags for the same trip. When I visited her room and asked about how the bags worked for her, I realized that she hadn't rolled the air out correctly. I did so for her and more than doubled the capacity.

My only complaint is that one of my bags burst. However, considering that I have at least 23 more intact bags and I probably exerted too much force, I'm good.

These travel space bags are terrible. I would not get them unless you are traveling with a lot of sweaters that you need to lay flat. If you put different shaped items in this bag it's very hard to roll and you don't get much air out. I have always rolled my clothes when packing a suitcase and I can fit more clothes in my bag than these stupid Travel Space Bags. And they don't lay flat in my suitcase. On the other hand, the bags with the valve where you have to use a vacuum... those are FANTASTIC. They work great. These travel bags...suck.

I agree with the previous reviewer to a point. I think it is a fantastic idea, and generally works well, but you must be very very careful of the zipper. The bottom edge (part that faces the bag) is pointed and if the zipper isn't pulled taut, and run straight it will completely shred the bag itself. I purchased the huge kit of bags for moving and storage and lost about half of them due to this. Great idea, but P&D needs to work on that zipper. Travel (roll up) ones rock. I am using them for a trip overseas and ended up returning a large suit case for a smaller one thanks to these bags!

I have never used the travel ones, but the reuglar space bags are amazing! they save sooo much space.

However, they are very heavy after they are sealed. It is not the bag, obviously, but you may not realize how heavy all the stuff in the bag is, because it becomes so small.

One last thing, it does not quite become the shape that it looks like on tv. It is not 100% flat, but it definitely still works. I have bought probably 15 of these bags.
