Good idea needs some improvement

for two of us it holds what we need well. My problem is it is starting to rust. We've owned it about a year and for $70 I would expect it not to rust. I find we can fit our stuff ok just have to make some adjustments and the adjustments are easy. Wish someone would invent one that doesn't rust!!

Good Idea, Bad Execution

I loved the idea of this shower caddy when I bought it. Extra hooks, extra rack, adjustable, etc. However, when I got it home and put it in my shower, nothing fit. I adjust the 2 shelves up and down and side to side a million times, to no avail. To get the top shelf high enough so that regular size bottles (not Costco or bulk bottles) could fit in the bottom shelf, the top shelf was so high that it was running into my shower head, making a good portion of it useless. I could not configure it in a way that I could use all of the space on both shelves. Will be returning to the store.

Had to return this product. While the concept is good, either the design or packaging causes the permanently attached suction cups to be creased thus making the product unuseable.

I loved the idea of this shower caddy but I believe they failed on the design. The top and bottom wires on each shelf have too big a gap - a normal size bottle of shampoo or can of shaving cream falls out between the wires. If they had added a middle front wire it would have been better. I guess the other small change I would have made is to make it a little longer to be able to leave more space between the shelves. I would return it but I already threw away the receipts.

A very genius product. I love how the shelving slides so I can adjust it to how my shower is built. Also, the bottom of it pivots so if you have uneven tiles in your shower, it will adjust to that also. The "holes" within the shelves that provide a space for you to store almost-empty bottles upside down is simply awesome. The look is sleek and goes along very well in my modern bath. Definitely a well thought out product. Definitely a good buy.

I had bought the bamboo one for 39.99 as well. I didnt like it.. THe top part kept sliding down and all the bottles fell on my head.. so.... i exchanged it for this one... so far, its good.. very durable and has the latch that does fit over my 1970's shower head..:) I recommend this product over the bamboo.

the item looks nice. shelves are adjustable. It's not ideal for a shower head that has other things attached to it. It is the case in our bathroom, so it's a little bulky in the top shelf of the item because we have to fit the hose of a flexible shower head. I'd recommend it for people who only have a single shower head. Check the diameter of your piping so that this item can fit.

Rusting after 1.5 yrs...replacing with same model.

I'm a "long-time" owner of this product, so I thought others would appreciate a review from me.

Bad news is that I've owned this for 1.5 years, and it's definitely starting to rust. Good news is I still have my receipt AND I know that this product has a FIVE-year warranty. I'm rating this as "average" b/c I'm just used to every single caddy eventually rusting out....but this one at least went longer than a year in-use.

I called BB&B and was told it'd be no problem to bring it in and exchange it, so I'll be doing that today. I spent SOOO much time buying this one....I don't care about price at this point. I just want a caddy that won't rust.

I didn't have the suction cup problems that other reviewers have reported. They go flat over time, but when the suction stops after considerable time, I wet it and pinch it to make the "cone" stand out more. I love the adjustability of this model a lot, so I'm going to exchange mine for a the exact model.

And I'll be sure to keep the receipt, as usual...sigh. I reviewed the Oxo Shower Caddy too, fyi.

Good Quality but has it's flaws

I bought this item about 1 year ago and like others, there is slight rusting in the baskets...but even worse is the fact that the top latch that connects the caddy to the shower head cracked and is no longer functional. I've decided to purchase the "bamboo" version because I do like the amount of room it offers for my products and the "simplehuman" products designs are appealing to me!

This shower caddy appeared to be sturdy and well designed, however it does not fit my shower head. My shower head is not unusual, like Grohe, but the caddy only adjusts to small sized necks like on lower quality shower heads. I think the company should have made this more clear on packaging materials.

I was pleased with the quality of the caddy. The fact that it adjusts from side to side is great for larger bottles and the handy hooks on the sides are good for hanging items to dry. Pleased to see it is stainless steel and the handy suction cup that moves is very good for stability of the unit along with the adjustable screw where it hangs. I've had it for about 2 mo. and am hopeful it won't begin to rust before a few years use.

I've had this for about 2 years. The main bar is stainless but I doubt the baskets are as one of them has started rusting. Other than that, it's a great product. I thought it would last me years longer.
