Perfect Size for cleaning Table Saw Blades

A 10 inch saw blade will fit in this just perfectly. I recommend using Lestoil to clean the grime off of your blades. This container will let you put in the lestoil and soak your blades and then keep the lestoil around for reuse. Absolutely perfect!

Too Small

This item is built nicely and is attractive, but with an interior diameter of around 11.5 inches, is TOO SMALL to hold a 9.5" pyrex pie dish with glass handles on each side. I suppose it could hold a flimsy aluminum pie pan, but if you make enough pies to want a pie holder, you probably use fairly bulky and sturdy pans. Looks like we'll bite the bullet and pay the extra bucks for the Tupperware pan which hopefully is big enough, hard to tell from their website.

The pie carrier I purchased was a replacement for one that cracked when I accidentally dropped it. The new one is different from the photo and it's dimensions are slightly smaller.

It could be better...

The design on paper is good and it's convenient. But my criticism is that it needs a little R & D. There are only two tabs to hold the top on so if you carry it by the handle and either of them let go, there goes dessert! Another tab or even two more would make the top more secure (so I don't walk around worrying while carrying it) and it would also distribute the weight better. The non-clipped sides pull away from the bottom while carrying a deep-dish pie (of which I make a lot).
