I like to give picnic baskets as wedding presents and when I saw this one I thought it would make a great gift. I really like everything about this basket. I only wish the plates, cups and utensils were colorful. The all white is a little stark.

We looked at several other baskets and this one was a large size and also had room for the dishes. Most others couldn't hold much more than the dishes that came with them. The price was excellent, and the quality was good. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great product for a great price.

I put this on my registry for our wedding and was thrilled when I got it. It is a large basket, perfect for filling it full. It is a bit awkward to carry, and definitely does look like it would be heavy filled up, but that's what the husband is for! I like that it it already has the place settings and silverware included, and that it has specific places for the place settings. the silverware does not have a specific place--hubs solved that one by putting the silverware in one cup, then having me put the top cup in upside down over it. So far, it's staying. The place settings and silverware are heavy duty plastic--number 5, I think it said, which means you can wash it in the dishwasher, it's not too heavy, and probably won't last forever, but that's okay. It's pretty convenient to have it and it should last a while. I also like that this basket has a cooler and looks like a picnic basket--I like the look of an old fashioned picnic basket, so it makes me happy. It is also very economical--I had a hard time finding a basket that wasn't over $100, and this is more affordable and comes with almost everything you need. I cannot wait to have a picnic together!

I must admit this is not the basket we put on our wedding registry, but I was thrilled when we opened this one. I love the size and the insulated interior. It can get a little heavy when filled up, but overall pretty easy to carry. My only minor complaint is that the video online boasts of straps to keep everything secure, yet there are no straps for the utensils. I thought I might have been missing something since the other baskets we looked at all had spots for them, but that is something easily worked around and we still love our basket.

This basket was a WONDERFUL idea. Originally was just looking for a wicker picnic basket for a photo shoot but when I saw how this basket incorporates the traditional wicker basket look with the insulated lining, I had to have it! It looks great and works great. This is a very large basket though and I did not realize how heavy it would get with everything inside. Wish it came in a smaller size. Also, it would be nice to have some kind of partition for things you want to keep cold and things you want to keep at room temp. Overall, satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others. Will be going on more picnics from now on! :)

OK so this WAS the best gift I ever received until I found an infestation of bugs living in the basket. I looked them up online and they are a particular beetle that only eats soft woods (my basket). So I killed them all and tried treating the basket in hopes of saving it but it didn't work. Finally after 4 months of killing every new batch of eggs that hatched I had to give up and throw the basket away. I kept the dinning ware since they are good for picnics.

OMG. The most perfect picnic basket ever.I sent this to my daughter in Germany so she and her family can enjoy precious time together before her husband deploys to Afghanistan. I filled it with tons of goodies from the States(it is that roomy even with all the dinnerware which is included ). My grandaughter who is now 4 says the picnics are now perfect because they have a "REAL BASKET" like Red Riding Hood!!!! LOL I will be purchasing more for gifts and even one for myself. I gave this as a wedding gift to friends that are travel enthusiasts. I packed it with other essentials for a picnic and sent them on their way! I love this picnic basket!! First and foremost, it has the classic look I wanted, and I really like the way all the place settings fit in the lid. The insulated interior was a bonus I never expected! It actually kept everything cool, with those plastic "fake-ice" containers, while we drove 8 hours to get back home! It IS a little heavy, but we would have lost the basket to the wind otherwise! I purchased this basket after LOTS of shopping. I wanted something special, opens from above (vs. "luggage" style), for a special picnic on
Catalina Island with my sweet husband to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

This basket not only looks great, but is thermally lined! It kept all our foods and beverages cold (with cold packs) for hours! I packed our plates, glasses, eating utensils, small cutting board, place mats, and napkins in the top.

It is a heavy basket, but well worth it. It's stunning to look at. We received many compliments on it as we walked around Avalon. One young man asked me where I purchased it and how much it was. He's buying it for his girlfriend.
