I had my eye on these for years. I am especially particular about what goes into our cupboards, thus I contemplated the practicality of this purchase over a period of time. I am thrilled with these mini trifle dishes. You can serve anything from a salsa bar, to dips, to individual salads or cold soups, to breakfast & desserts in these dishes. (The capacity is for 1 cup of liquid.) I'd also use them as a variety of functions in decorative table centers. They are wonderfully (securely!) stackable, taking very little room to store, and are made in the USA to boot. The thickness of the glass is fabulous.

Cute, but low quality

I love the look of these but must admit they are very low quality, they should be priced lower. One of the glasses actually does not sit level on a table, it rocks back and forth, I should have opened the box before buying these to see if they were all without flaws. If I see these anywhere sold individually I will have to purchase one to replace my "rocking" one. Overall I really lke the style and would buy them again, but would just check quality well first.

These little trifle bowls are like a secret weapon. They are so inexpensive and so inoffensive to look at, but when a brightly colored dessert is added and layered inside, it makes for an unbelievably stunning dessert presentation. A full-size trifle is always a pretty dessert to serve, but there's something extra-special and darling about your own individual mini-trifle. I served layers of lemon mousse with fresh raspberries for a family gathering in these, and everyone agreed they were almost too pretty to actually eat. These bowls transform the simplest desserts like pudding and whipped cream into elegant confections. Do yourself a favor and get some of these!
