Cookie gun has a soft-grip trigger and knob for easy use. Made of durable cast aluminum, cookie gun has an "hourglass" barrel design for extra comfort that is see-through to see how much dough you have left. The non-slip silicone ring at the base holds press securely on the cookie sheet. Clear barrel is dishwasher safe. I think if your expectations are too high you will be frustrated easily because they dont all turn out the same size. It is a little hard to get them all exactly perfect. Its definitely fun though. We liked it as a wedding gift.

I've always wanted a cookie press and I received this one as a gift from my grandaughter. The disk does not hold in place, dough kept slipping out of the sides and black threads from the disk ended up in the cookie dough. Do NOT buy this product.

This press works very well and I had a lot of fun with my four-and-a-half year-old granddaughter who loudly proclaimed COOKIE! each time a spritz cookie successfully landed on the cookie sheet. It was so easy to use that she was the one pulling the trigger. All I had to do was hold it down.

This product is easy on your hands unlike some other cookie presses. The only problem that I had was that some of the shapes are extremely fragile and don't even make it off the pan. I only use less than half of the disks.

I was really looking forward to using this as a short cut to make Christmas Cookies. Unfortunately this press made one batch of perfect Christmas trees but when we went to make the second batch the disk kept sliding out of place and it wasn't just one disk it was every disk thereafter. I'll stick to rolling the dough out and cookie cutters.

I was looking forward to making spritz cookies with my two little girls but this cookie press didn't even make it through one batch of cookies! The cookies were uneven and every disk we tried slipped out of place. I am so disappointed with this product. I have made spritz with my mother since I was little and wanted to share that fun experience with my kids too. I guess I will look for an all metal model like my mom's press.

My mom bought me a wilson cookie press and I had it for years, without having any issues and the cookies came out great. The ultra pro had new shape, though. I did wish it had shapes to cover all the holidays and felt those mini shapes are a waste I had Black threads of plastic from the discs getting in my dough.The dough was coming out the sides and the disc was coming out and not staying in place The rubber non skid on the bottom came off and wouldn't stay in place. I was not able to press any cookies. I am not one to give up easily I spent hours troubleshooting. but wasted time and money. Very Very disappointed. I feel the others who gave it a good review work for the company. Trust me dont waste your time.

This cookie press was absolutely awful. I bought it to help with baking Christmas cookies. All it did was push out blobs of dough without any shape. If I was lucky I got one or two that turned out nice through an entire batch. I literally spent any entire day playing around with this thing and only managed to get two decent batches of cookies out of it. What a waste of time.

Just used this yesterday to make spritz cookies. The cookie press worked great! My 12 year-old niece did most of the work and it was nearly impossible to mess up! Once you get the dough to press the cookie out correctly you only have to pump the press once to get the cookie to come out perfect. I do agree with some other reviews in that it would be nice if it held more dough, but that was not a real big issue for us. And we used the spritz cookie recipe provided in the package and they were delicious:) That recipe states to cook the cookies for 10-12 minutes, but with our stove we found that they only needed to cook for 7 minutes to not be too brown.

it's super fun to use, and has so many shapes, I can make cookies for basically ANYTHING! I love this thing.. especially for the holidays :)

the only downfall is how little it holds, and it tends to squeak when I pull the lever. also, the dough doesn't always stick to the pan, but that's kind of the dough's fault. lol. we've learned to squeeze it twice, and that usually does the trick.

I love this cookie press. I originally bought one from Crate and Barrel and it sucks! It was hard to use and never worked! I went and bought this cookie press and with no struggle and so fast I made cookies that looked and taste good. Best cookie press ever. Easy to assemble, and to use. First couple cookies come out a little weird just cuz I needed to get the rhythm but overall amazing product!

I am not an expert baker and found this very easy to use and clean. The first time I tried it the dough squished out on the side of the disk but then after I flipped the disk over it never happened again. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I'd like the tube to be a little longer. I will try the recipe the earlier reviewer suggested at AllRecipes.com. The recipe on the box was good but I would have liked the dough to be a little stiffer, too.

I just bought this thing, and I love it! My cookies were coming out looking great! I only had to re-do a few of them to get the hang of each new disk I tried at first. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think it could use a bit larger barrel.
