I was excited about ordering this product since I read many good reviews and the fact that you had the fryer in stock. I can't honestly review the product since upon opening the box I realized there were some problems with the fryer. First, i realized that there was no manual with it, there was also a problem with the cord connecting to the fryer and other little things that didn't seem right. At that point I felt as though this fryer had been returned and probably re packaged but not checked before sending it back out. i was very surprised since I had higher expectations from Bed Bath & beyond. I called customer service and explained the situation and told them i wanted to return it to the store instead of shipping it back. I will say that the return went well and handled professionally and without a problem. But, it changed my opinon about buying online and the confidence i had with this company.

Not Bad at All

I've had this fryer about a month now. I have cooked hot wings, fries, chips, hush-puppies, eggrolls, beignets, battered fish, pierogies, and cheese curds so far in it. Everything has come out just fine. I really like the filter/draining feature, even thought it's just a screen it does a fine job of removing the "sludge" that settles to the bottom. Cleanup is a breeze, I just hand wash the parts. The footprint on the counter is rather large, but stashing it in the cabinet is a lot easier knowing the oil storage is sealed tight. I have a digital Thermapen thermometer that is quite accurate and the oil is really close to the temperatures you have to choose from. The only gripe I have is that no stores within 100 miles of me stock this and I had to pay for shipping, killing my 20% discount. Start offering a "Ship to Store" option and I would buy a lot more other items!!!

We purchased this deep fryer as a gift for my mother and she loves using it! It has great features such as the oil drainer so you can reuse the oil for several times before discarding it. This helps save money for not having to put in new oil all the time. Clean up is also simple and can be used in the dishwasher. She uses it to fry all kinds of food, including egg rolls. My husband and I actually have the same deep fryer and we got it as a wedding gift. We use it most of the time.

I used to have white smaller T-fal easy clean fryer for about 7 years. After heavy useage of it, finally I needed to have replacement because heating element start to fail. I found this improved, bigger one, I decided to purhcase it. I love my new fryer as well. It drain oil in the plastic container to re use it. Everything is dishwasher safe except for heating element. I highly recomend it!

At first this fryer was fine. After about a month, every time I used it, it would leak oil all over my counter top. I haven't used it in quite a while. I will be buying a new fryer.

Great Fryer

Have owned 4 other fryers before this one. This one heats faster and maintains temperature much better than others. The oil filter is fantastic, separating the solids from the oil makes cleanup so easy. Unit disassembles for easy cleanup, although a few areas inside the outer casing have semi sharp edges and sharp corners, I have never been cut from these areas. I have owned this fryer for 4 years now and use it more than once a week, it still looks and functions like new. If I ever have to replace it I will buy the same one again.

I bought this only because all the other fryers to me are a waste of money. This one is easy to clean dishwasher safe and I love the idea of being able to filter my oil. Some of the others do not allow you to do so and after a couple times of frying the oil to me is nasty. I give this product a 10 because of how it saves time and money.

Used for specific meal, drained, cleaned, and will donate to local charity resale shop. Worked well, rapidly to temp, easy to use, adequate basket, drain/clean/store feature for oil would be nice if I was keeping it. Flimsy overall materials of construction (needs heavier guage metal). Sharp edges on main well and cover noted during cleaning (did not bother to finsh edges of metal after stamping). If you are looking for an additon to your kitchen, suggest you keep looking for fryer that is better made.
