Waste of Money

I tried two times with this product, but had the exact experience twice. Each time, after more than one use, the coating peeled off. I thought it was such a great deal, 19.99 plus 20% off and a ten dollar rebate. In the end the cost is about $5, so if I could have used it five times, it would equal the dollar store. But it didn't even do that much. So, thank goodness BB is great and took it back, at full price! Let's hope the new style (which was more $$) is better quality than this piece of-----------. Oneida should be disgraced to have their name associated with this product.

I have only used this roasting pan a couple of times and the bottom of the pan is now peeling and it can no longer be used. The coating that isn't peeling is bubbling and ready to peel all over! Awful product and a complete waste of money! I would not recommend.

I got this roasting pan for Chrismas 2012 and have only used it 3 times. The bottom of the pan is now peeling and it can no longer be used. The coating that isn't peeling is bubbling and ready to peel all over! Awful product and a complete waste of money! I would not recommend. Disposible aluminum trays would have lasted longer.

lt was not an expensive pan but it is ridiculous. The surface scratched with the rack on the first use. The coating came off. It was also stored with the paper to protect it so it happen while baking first time...garbage! Verry disappointed with B &B to carry such a substandard product.

i'd say you get what you pay for, but frankly i've gotten more use from disposable aluminum pans - literally on the second use the nonstick coating flaked off into the gravy

You get what you pay for I suppose. We bought this roaster on a whim in the store. After about 3 uses the coating started to flake as others have mentioned. The most recent use it not only flaked, but where it was flaked off was already rusting.

Bought this pan a just for Thanksgiving turkey and used it 3 times. Now it's garbage. Coating has flaked off and does not hold the size turkey as advertised on the box.

Thankfully, I still have the box and receipt. Non-stick coating flaked off generously during first wash and that was with a nylon sponge. Drippings stuck to the non-stick surface. What a waste of money. I should have known better when they were piled up on a display outside the store.

This was fine for my first thanksgiving. The price was right since I was buying a ton of other stuff, but it's priced this low for a reason. You get what you pay for, and if you can't afford anything better, it will last you 2 Thanksgivings. It's also a LOT bigger than the other cheap pans, and since I had a 25 lb turkey, it did work well. Just think of it as a disposable pan.

I found this sitting on the clearance isle of my local store, grabbed it for $15. I used it for my first turkey and was pleased as could be. My second turkey some of the nonstick began flaking off, no problem it was just where the rack met it. third turkey all the nonstick began flaking. This wasn't worth the money i spent on it. I never put it in the dishwasher always hand wash with plastic nonstick safe scrubber (not very good nonstick if you have to scrub it off, now that i think about it). I never used any metal utensils on it (don't own any). Never cut anything in it. I suppose the rule here is the same as everywhere else, you get what you pay for. After reading the other reviews i seem to have gotten more mileage than most out of it.

I purchased this pan for Thanksgiving this year. Price was great, but it was a terrible pan. I roasted my 20lb. turkey in it - looked just like the picture on the box. However, The turkey was sitting up so high it splattered all over the stove, smoking the whole house up and set off the smoke alarm. When I took the rack out, the coating was flaking off where the rack toughed the pan. For Christmas I cooked a chateau briand and it again smoked up the whole house. I am going to try to return this horrible pan. The $19.00 was too much to pay for this horrible pan.

I have used this roasting pan about 3 times since i bought it. Tonight I had a house full of people making a roasted chicken. When the chicken was all cooked and sitting on the counter resting I started to make the gravy. As i was using my rubber whisk to whisk the gravy I noticed black stuff floating around. I pulled a piece out and noticed it was the coating from the pan. We dumped the gravy out and the coating on the roaster was just peeling off. So not a good product. Next one i buy will be a stainless steal one.

I purchased this pan 2 years ago and the non-stick coating began to come off after one use. I used it 2 more times and the 3rd time I had to discard the gravy juices. BUT...without a receipt, 2 years old, Bed Bath and Beyond gave me a store credit for the purchase price.
Kudos to the store and boos to Oneida for this pan.

I bought this last year to cook my Thanksgiving turkey. This was purchased to replace my 25-year-old graniteware roaster. I wanted something that was non-stick and new. Sometimes it is best to stick with what you have. The surface began peeling immediately. Worse than that was the fact that it did a lousy job roasting the turkey. The turkey never seemed to get done. Unfortunately I foolishly sold my graniteware roaster at a garage sale. This year I will be buying another good old fashioned graniteware roaster that evenly distributes the heat around the turkey to produce beautiful results -- juicy, tender and wonderfully roasted bird!

Sorry, but I must give credit where credit is due. This is my 3rd year of roasting Tom Turkey in this pan.
Cleanup is a breeze. Let it soak in warm sudsy water; no scrubbing necessary. Best investment I ever made and Tom Turkey is comfy while serving his sentence.
