I read the old reviews dating back to April 2012 and was hesitant to buy this product, however, two new reviews recent reviews made me want to give it a try. I have to think they've changed the formula recently because it did not stick to anything and was very very easy to use! I recommend this product to all pet lovers out there!

My mother bought this for my son for Christmas and we did it together. It was very easy to read the instructions and make the ornament. We have a medium sized Brussels Griffon dog and she was great while making her paw print. This is a very simple and fun thing to do that will create a life time of memories! I just purchased three more of them!!

I bought this product before reading any of the reviews. I followed the directions and didn't have any problems. I have huskies - and the clay didn't stick to their fur or paw at all. We made ours a little thin and ended up just using one box for two paws and used the extra for a little ornamint. Not sure what everyone else was doing. But I LOVED this product. I will be buying more to give as gifts for next year!

Laughable product. And not in the good way.

This seriously is the worst product ever for the job. I'm forced to give it one star simply because it won't let me write a review without a star. The dough was EXTREMELY sticky and would not come off. Stuck to the rolling pin. Stuck to the paws. Stuck to the little plastic thing that was supposed to make the ribbon holes. Awful product. Will not purchase again. A positive recommendation will only be for people that like to waste money and get their dogs purposely sticky.

I bought 4 of these even after reading reviews in hopes I wouldn't have problems. Needless to say, this dough WILL stick to your dogs and create a mess, but I quickly had the idea to use flour on my dogs paws and it worked with NO MORE problems. DO NOT use the rolling pin they give us, it DOES NOT help, just gets sticky! Use flour on your dogs paws and on the spray can you use to roll this dough out and it will save you a lot of trouble. I had enough dough left from my 4 boxes and 4 dogs to make 1 more keepsake for my anniversary coming up. I would highly recommend this, provided that you follow those steps I gave you and it will make it SO MUCH EASIER. I will have a paw print of each of my babies as keepsakes and that makes it all worthwhile! =)

I bought two for my twin dogs. It ended up being a lot harder than I had thought. Their paws kept gettings stuck to the clay when I tried making an imprint. But the good thing is you can easily start over. The clay was veryyyy sticky when rolling it out too. Helpful hint: I would not even bother with the wooden pin included. It didnt work for me. I would use an aluminum can. I used a pledge bottle for example and it worked so much better. Also, when rolling doing apply too much pressure or it will stick. I did have enought left over to make two more plaques that I have sitting out on stands. So I got two good sized ornaments and 2 plaques out of 2 kits. Also, when dry its not very hard like I expected. It feels more like styrophone. Overall though for the price, its a good deal and a great way to create a memory of your pet. I probably wouldnt buy it again though because my pups werent having it!

Followed the directions exactly. The goop was stuck on my dog's paw and fur. Did not release from the mix. Took 30 minutes to get off. Waited 30 minutes and tried again - same result. I would not recommend this to anyone. Maybe I got a bad batch of mix, but it would not set, and continued to be sticky.

The "clay" is way too sticky to be effective. After pressing my dog's paw into it, pulling it away completely messed up whatever print had been made because it stuck to the bottom of his paw. After 5 unsuccessful attempts, I finally gave up and made his print myself. Very disappointed.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased the pawprint ornament. One for our older dog and one for our new one. They are fun ornaments and we will still have them even when the dogs are gone.

When I received this as a Christmas gift from my Boss I was extremely happy. I love my dog Leigha and she is my baby. I tried to make the ornament last night and what a nightmare. The puddy sticks to the package, there was no cutter, the puddy then stuck to the rolling pin, my dogs paw and the couch after she became startled. We ended up having to remove the fur from the bottom of her foot and she was tramatized for the rest of the evening. I do not recommend this product for ANYONE!!!

The plaster sticks to the inside of the package, and the then sticks to the rolling pin, the cutter is bent and not circular. I tried several times and could not make it work. Terrible product and BB&B will not refund shipping costs, I will never order from the again.

I had no trouble at all with this product. I was able to make two ornaments out of the material. It was soft and took two days to set (just as the instructions specify), but they came out adorable!

Unfortunately, I gave these as gifts and found out that out that the dozen of them I purchased, none of them worked. The "plaster" did not set well at all and was a mess. Really disappointed.

I have four dogs, two that are 14+ and two that are 1. I wanted to make sure I had these for what could be our last Christmas with the two older ones. It is a little hard to work with. If you have a dog with hairy paws you might have trouble. . Our labs were fine.

I purchased this product to make ornaments of my dog's and cat's paw prints. Upon seeing them I thought they were so cute, I couldn't help it. After having used them, I'd still recommend them, but with some warning. The first time I did it with my dog, his paw and hair between his paws got stuck and i had to take 5 minutes to pick it out/wash it/trim it. Make sure you are very careful not to push too hard or this will happen. After realizing this, I tried two more times and finally got the result I wanted. It just takes a few tries for you to get comfortable doing it with the right amount of pressure. Overall, fantastic idea. Just needs some practice!

The price is too high for this product, but the good part was I got 2 ornaments out of it, and could have got a 3rd if I wanted. The plastic band that is supposed to keep the ornament in place while drying is junk, mine came apart but luckily it was early on in the drying so I could fix the ornament. I found it easier to cut up a plastic food container and that worked awesome. Make sure to push your pet's paw hard otherwise you can't see the print. When creating the holes for the ribbon make sure the straw is really wet otherwise it sticks. Overall I'm glad to have them for my memories once my dog and cat are gone. Easy to do, would be a fun project with the kids. Looks great on my tree. =]

The ring to hold impression material together is too thick. You cant smooth out the material with the dowel given. The paw print is very hard to see. The material is a bright white, so any dust or pet hair sticks to it!! I would not recommend this to anyone. Save your money, and buy something else.

I'm pretty disappointed. It looks like terrible and is still not dry after 5 days. The cutting/measuring ring fell off of the still damp clay and some of that clay stuck to the ring and now the sides of my ornament look terrible. This is not worth $10. Although, it was very easy to do.

This is the best idea! I saw this in the store last year before chirstmas and bought it for my dog. It was super easy and a looked great on the tree. I am so glad I did this because it happened to my dog's last christmas and not she can be apart of chirstamas every year even though she is no longer with us. I am going to get another one this year for my new puppy so I willl be sure to have hers for all time as well!
