I love this fryer!
It is the perfect size. I doesn't hold much at one time, but if you're not cooking for 10, then it's a great addition to a kitchen. It's small enough to fit on the counter and not take up all the cooking space. It also uses a small amount of oil with is great.
It heats up fast and is easy to clean.

I really like this fryer. The food comes out great and it is larger enough for my husband and I. My only complaint is it is IMPOSSIBLE to get fully clean. It is like the plastic soaks up the oil. So after you wash it the oil comes back. This may be with all fryers though, I do not know.

This is our 2nd try with the Cuisinart Mini. The first one worked one time, then promptly died. This on worked 2 months. By died, I mean completely ceased to function. 1 lemon, ok, but 2? No thanks. That said, when it was working, it worked beautifully. My husband is a vegetarian and loves fried tofu. This fryer got the tofu crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. Short wait for the 2nd and 3rd batch for the oil to get hot again, but that's standard. We're back to square one.

I love this frying alot. Its easy to clean and doesn't take up much storage, the only thing though the cord detaches from the frying pan easily. I accidentally tapped it lightly and it unplugged from the pan. And I didn't even know it was uplugg. so that's why i gave it 3 stars. Other than that, its excellent.

I bought this fryer last week just to add a different variation to the types of foods we've been eating. I followed the perfect fries recipe that came with it and it was fantastic!! I couldn't believe how good they were. Even my 6 yr old son told me "Mommy, you make the best fries ever!" I'll be trying the calamari and other recipes soon. I also followed the cleaning instructions and it's much easier than scrubbing a frying pan.

Based on previous reviews and the low cost I purchased this mini fryer. We love it. The liter bottles of oil fill the basin and it's then easy to pour the oil back out of the fryer. Since it is smaller that means that you can only fry a portion of your meal at a time; however, I just popped the fried foods into a warm oven and they stayed warm. My cornstarch/panko dredged chicken chunks cooked evenly and retained only a little oil. The best part is the lid that keeps splatters to a minimum and there was little cooked oil odor in the house. I've already recommended this mini fryer to a number of my friends.

I received this as a gift and it is a great little gadget! I tried it with vegetable oil and it cooked up great. Will be trying different oils though to choose a healthier option. My first couple of batches was great - really enjoy the small window on the lid so I do not need to keep opening the lid. Nothing stuck to the basket. Easy to clean and store. Perfect for 1-2 people. Will enjoy trying additional items in this mini fryer.

Wow! What a great purchase! For those searching for that perfect LITTLE fryer ie small batches, (appetizers, afterschool, snacks, etc.) look no further! I've tried a lot of fryers over the years, but this one is the best. Quick heat recovery, cook-n-look lid, nice basket, great little recipes/manual, super easy clean-up - I use peanut oil and had NO problems with sticking - I'm glad I shopped around and went with a reliable, well made, Cuisinart product - you just can't go wrong with this little workhorse!!! 2 Things; #1- Read the manual, #2 -The outside gets HOT - It's a DEEP FRYER. =)

Placed this mini deep fryer on our registry when my husband thought making homemade mozzarella sticks would be fun... This deep fryer does heat up quickly, but don't dare touch any part of it or else your guarantee to burn yourself. The entire fryer gets unsafely hot, and the little basket they provide you with, everything gets stuck to it. I can't say stay clear of this product more strongly... I will be taking this to bed bath beyond tomorrow looking for a refund!

This is the BEST deep fryer ever! I had been searching for a deep fryer for 6 months. I read hundreds of reviews and I even bought a couple others and ending up returning them. We've had deep fryers in the past as well and they just weren't that great. I finally went and got this little gem. It has been terrific and just perfect for what we need it for. I was a little nervous because a couple of the reviews said it was too small and hard to clean. Let me tell you...this is the EASIEST deep fryer to clean! It doesn't require much oil at all. You just let it cool, pour it into a container and stick it in the fridge. (I reuse it a few times). Then you just wipe it out - it's totally nonstick. The lid pulls right off so you can wash it too. It has a charcoal filter in the lid so there's really no smell at all either. As for the size, I think it's perfect for a family of 4. The book says to just put 1 layer of fries in at a time, but I put way more than that and it still works great. It actually holds quite a bit. And the temperature remains consistent. In fact, it does such a great job that we've used it 4 times so far and the oil level hasn't gone down at all. Nothing is ever greasy. I told my family that we would only be using it once a month (because we just don't eat that much fried food) but it's been so much fun, so easy and so good that we've used it 4 times in the past 2 weeks!

I was excited to find a small deep fryer produced by a company with a good track record but I am disappointed with this purchase. The fryer does not maintain it's heat and it is difficult to read the temperature. The magnetic plug comes out easily and the heat adjustment knob broke after one month.

Decent Little Fryer

I got this mostly to make french fries at home. I grew up with a huge Daddy fryer and figured this one would be great to just use now and again. What I didn't realize is how much I dislike making fries in batches when feeding three people. If you follow the guidelines, a single layer is not very much. A medium or large potato you'll have to split into two batches. Now looking for a bigger fryer.
This fryer did all it claimed it could. Never had any heat issues. Cooks nicely and heats up quickly. As others have said, the clean up is a bit haphazard, but manageable. I do like the magnetic plug attachment. The size is convenient too, stores very easily in a cabinet and you don't kill yourself trying to haul it out of the back behind everything. =-)

I love this mini fryer. My husband and I make homemade fries and the fryer works perfect for us. I have never had an issue with the fryer losing heat. It can be a pain to wash, but if you boil hot water with a few tablespoons of baking soda right in the fryer, that works very well. I really enjoy this fryer and would recommend.

I use this fryer at least once a week or so to make stuff for me and my husband. We live in Buffalo, NY so we know a thing or two about fried food! Despite what another review has said, I have never had a problem with it loosing heat. The temperature does adjust once you stick frozen food in, but it quickly heats back up to the proper temperature. Cleaning is kind of a pain, but not too bad and actually easier than other kitchen fryers I have used. I refill it with new oil about every third time I use it so the oil stays pretty fresh. It is a MINI fryer and is good for frying smaller portions only - 2 handfuls of fries, 3 or 4 chicken fingers, 5 or so chicken wings at a time.
