It's a great idea but needs to be redesigned for smaller cabinets and those with cheaper made cabinet doors.
Should put in product details the minimum size door required so that both cabinet doors do not need to be opened in order to clear the depth of the item. The dimensions themselves do not indicate until you try to install it the required clearance needed to open the door.
Also the area where the screws attach to the door is frequently the thinnest part of the door face. There needs to be another place to screw in the screws. 1980's homes have narrower cabinets and flimsy doors so this item which is hefty might not hold up well on a flimsy door.
Another reason to make this smaller is for bathroom cabinets which are substantially narrower and you don't need such a big can anyway.
Ideally, an under sink basket that is on rails (similar to those organizer shelves you install under the sink), but for trash can that is orientated wide x shallow so that it won't bump into the piping and garbage disposal underneath. Also, a horizontal orientation (wide facing forward), is more practical for scraping dishes or just having less to pull out. Currently, simple human or someone has a pull out on tracks trash can, but the orientation is wrong (narrow x long) and we can't use it because it won't go all the way in because of the piping and garbage disposal.
Good idea, need to have more flexibility for smaller/older type cabinets bathroom applications

The item is pretty sturdy in itself, but make sure that your cabinet has the proper door thickness for the length of the screws that have to be used to mount it. I did not see it listed on the outside of the box, only the height and width requirements of the entire system. You should have at least a 1/4 inch door thickness at the center of the cabinet door. The mounting holes require you to screw right in the center of your cabinet door as opposed to a more sturdy portion of most cabinet doors around the edges. Otherwise you end up with sharp screws sticking out the front. Also, don't use a power drill. It's one of those instances where it might screw in super fast and crack your wood since cabinets are a little flimsier than if you were screwing into a stud.

Have had in use for several years and is convenient from a placement standpoint, meaning it does not take floor space in our small kitchen.
What needs to be improved is the lid, it has plastic tension snaps - they do not keep the lid on securely, it is always coming off.
You also need to make sure your groceries bags don't have any small holes otherwise any liquids from food will find there way through - the plus side is there is a catch tray below.

I can't remember where I originally saw this system, and I had to look hard to find it. It wasn't stocked in any of the BBB stores and I had to order on-line. It easily fits onto the cabinet door below my kitchen sink and uses all the plastic grocery bags we bring home. The bottom stores the bags and support the bag in use. The bags fit into it perfectly and are easy to put on. It is sturdily built. Easy to clean.
