these are amazing. i would def. recommend these for your shower curtain. These slide back and forth easily without scratching shower rod. the best ones i ever had and easy to install. the oil rubbed bronze match my Victorian bathroom and look beautiful . cant say enough about these hooks!

More than I needed - or just right?

For my plastic shower curtain lining, I likely needed ONLY some light plastic rings, but this is what I purchased, raising my anxiety that the metal would scratch the metal shower rod. I guess the roller balls prevent that or minimize the risk, but buying home items requires 'laboratory skills' (what an engineering professor once termed "a sense of things"). Look carefully before buying; I'm happy with this purchase.
