When we get new knives, they now have a home instead of in a drawer. I just wish my husband would pick a constant direction to store the knives in, some go up and down and then the others are left and right. I gave 4 stars because when we hand washed it, some of the..tentacles(?) fell off, not enough to make it not work, but it was still disappointing. It also takes some time to get back into the casing.

I am really confused why the Kapoosh block has so many 5 star reviews. We have had ours for over a year now. Our knives are getting scratched, some knives no longer go in all the way and a lot of the rods have been breaking off and falling out. Big disappointment. It does look sleek and is versatile, but I would prefer something that functions properly and does not ruin our expensive knife set.

I ordered this Kapoosh because we redid our kitchen with stainless and our butcher block didn't go well. We had an expensive knife set and like to have them out for ease of use. All the knives fit perfectly and even allows a few more than the butcher block we had. It's great because then knives are all different sizes too. We love this item. Strongly recommended.

This knife block is just great. I had the wooden one but the seams loosen being left on the stove. The stainless steal holds up wonderfully. I like the fact you can place many sizes of knives in the block with no problem. Great product.

I got this knife block as a wedding gift. It was a wonderful space saver! I was able to combine what I had in two knife blocks into this one unit! it's durable with good grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding easily.

I started building a collection of very expensive knives. Eventually I realized that allowing them to sit unprotected in a drawer was just... wrong. I picked one of these up at BBB a week or so ago, and I already LOVE IT! It holds WAY more knives than any of the blocks that came w/ my sets - it's very easy to clean (should the need arise.. as it does with me) - and it sits firmly on the counter w/ little rubber feet. Totally awesome product!!!!

My son gave me the Kapoosh stainless steel knife block holder for Christmas. I had two knife blocks in my kitchen and they didn't hold all the knives I needed. My knives were always stacked on top of one another, or it was frustrating to try and fit them all in. I was seriously considering getting a third knife holder- although I didn't know where I would put it. The Kapoosh was the answer to my knife problems. All my knives fit in one holder, it looks great and takes up less space. I am thrilled with the Kapoosh- a funny name for a great product. Every cook needs one.
