Cheaper to buy the espresso alone and have options to make a Tassimo Latte or Cappuccino- but did Kraft (parent compnay)have to up the price by a buck for T-discs- especially when Starbucks about to introduce their own single serving brewer. Marketing of Tassimo has never been a strong suit over the years.

I bought this Tassimo System a few weeks ago, its awesome, I dont give myself much time in the morning hours, so this is the best cup of expresso for those times when ur rushing.
THe Tassimo website is great ,they have auto delivery so you will not run out , all the beverages are very tasty ... great purchase!!

I am a coffee snob. I love the thick Crema that this espresso has each and every time I brew it. Not to mention the full flavor. I just do a longer manual push for a full cup of full flavored coffee or a regular push for espresso. Any which way this stuff is AWESOME!!!

While I miss the loss of Starbucks coffees from the Tassimo Family- the Gevalia Espresso and Cappuccino is on the same level as the corresponding varieties from Starbucks. Unfortunately I can't say the same about Gevalia's regular blends- although haven't yet tried their new Colombian Roast.

The Gevalia Expresso T-Discs are fine but I regret purchasing Tassimo due to the lack of variety of T-Discs. Since Starbucks discontinued, the coffee selection is extremely limited. Gevalia tends to lack the robust flavor that I like.

Two of these disks provide a large (similar to three shots from the espresso shop) and strong latte. I use the milk disks or just add my own milk. I'm a coffee snob (former Seattle resident) and I enjoy these lattes as much--or more--than the ones I make with my expensive (and time-consuming) Illy machine. Finally I'm fully caffeinated at an affordable price.

I put a couple of shots in my coffee in the morning, it really gets me ready for the day. I love Starbucks and their drinks are so fattening. Espresso with the Gevalia T-disks is the best. Easy and quick. Get your Coffe, with Gevalia.

great espresso

This is one of the best espresso I have had in the US. Moved from Italy in the US few years ago, and cannot find a good caffe` or espresso. This one is the only one so far that is about what I will have in Italy. Just a suggestion/trick, that when you have an espresso, keep your old t-disk inside, run a espresso cycle once, throw away "old" coffee, then replace the t-disk with a new espresso T-disk a run a regular espresso. it seems like it comes better when the machine internal parts are hot. Also, don't run the whole espresso, stop half way if you want the best result, otherwise you will get lot water instead of the full aroma. Also, sugar is a MUST for espresso. two tea-spoon is a good amount. When done, leave the t-disk in for next time to run a cycle before having the espresso. I will totally recommend this espresso.

I am definitely a coffee person and the espresso that comes out here is really good. I find it goes perfectly too with the creamer t-discs to make a deliciously frothy drink. Love the taste and price versus the cost of going to a coffee place!
