Customer Reviews for Single Fry Pan

Single Fry Pan

This cute frying pan will cheer you up even on the dullest mornings. It's the ideal shape and size to cook up a single egg. Measures 5" in diameter. For electric stove use only. Hand wash.

The pan does work great for a single egg, and yes you do have to use oil or spray (which is no big deal to me). However, I agree that the handle gets so hot that I've burnt my hand. If this could be fixed I would buy more of them.

I love mine, it works exactly as described and is very useful. It fits on my kitchen wall really easily, hanging from a nail and is cute there too.

Do not waste your money! No matter how much butter you use, the non-stick functionality still does not work. from day 1 this never worked as a "non-stick" egg cooking solution. i would recommend it if the non-stick coating works, but it does NOT! great idea, poor product quality.

I bought this pan as a freshman in college because it was small and so easy to fit in my dorm, and I've found has been a great investment ever since. Aside from the advantage its small size offers in terms of storage, it's just the right size to leave you with a nice round egg, in which the white actually gets a little fluffy, rather than just spread in skinny tendrils as often happens with a larger pan. Plus, the whimsy is a nice little touch for the morning. As one reviewer observed, the pan is not really non-stick, so you should use a little butter or olive oil.

Single Fry Pan

I use this little pan almost every day to make wonderful egg McMuffins at home. Using this pan and the accompanying small egg turner makes cooking breakfast very quick and easy. Just remember since the pan is small in diameter, you must reduce the flame (for gas stoves) or position it closer to you (off center) with electric stoves.

The handle on this fry pan, including the Penguin, got so hot that I severely burnt my hand.

Not non-stick. Egg gets stuck to pan every time

Love the idea, but it's not non-stick so makes it really hard to actually fry an egg. The egg will stick to the pan and the turner that comes with it.
