Love the Design but Wears Fast

I got this about a year ago and for the price I paid for it, I really loved it for awhile. I love the pattern and it goes with just about anything, which is nice because I change my color scheme a lot.

The disappointing thing with this set is that it seems to be made cheaply and all of the threads on mine are fraying. It seems like every week I am getting out the scissors and cutting away loose threads, which is disappointing.

Bottom line, I probably would not buy this again. While I still like it, I just wish that it hadn't worn so bad. I am starting to shop for a new comforter because I just don't think this one looks quite as nice as it used to. Was it the most disappointing purchase I ever made? No, but like I said, I probably wouldn't do it again.

Mixed Feelings

First things first, this bedding set looks great. It's sharp and contemporary and looks great in our bedroom. The material is also very soft, which is great for me because I loathe scratchy bedding materials. However, there are definitely some issues with this set which knock it down a few stars for me. As others have stated, the "Black/Gray" color is misleading. It is most definitely a Black/Taupe color so if you're buying this to fit a particular decorating scheme, think again. Also, the comforter was a bit lumpy when we bought the set 4 months ago and only seems to be getting lumpier. If it holds up a full year I'll be surprised. The biggest issue with this set though is that it doesn't breathe. I tend to be freezing all the time. I've been known to sleep under the covers with sweatpants, a hoodie, and socks. But this comforter makes me boiling hot. Even while sleeping in a tank top and shorts I end up tossing the covers off halfway through the night and often wake up sweaty and overheated. This is the first time in my life I've ever encountered this and it coincides to the first night I changed our bedding to this set. Even though I love how this set looks, I plan on giving it away because I can't handle the nightly sweats and interrupted sleep.

Love the material, it is so soft! The grey has a hint of purple in it, sort of like a gunmetal steel, which i wasnt expecting. Some of the threads are coming up I hope it doesnt fall apart

Good for the money

I think this is a good set for the money. I do think the discription and picture are misleading. There seem to be 2 color combos of this set that the company doesn't tell you about. Mine is more taupe/black than grey/black. When I fold my comforter down the under side is solid black where as in the picture it is grey. I don't know how the stuffing is going to hold up because it seems to be bunching up in areas already and we have had it for a month, but again for the price I can't complain.

I have never ever written a review on any purchase, ever... but this is different bc this set is AWESOME! If I could use it for my master & spare I totally would. Great price. Great quality. Looks awesome... I've gotten so many compliments on this set... && to think it was only $80! I like sleeping in my spare bedroom more than my master bc of this set! Highly recommended. && The colors on the picuture are an accurate description, hands down. It is black and grey without question.

Great Value and Comfortable

I just bought a bedding set in Feb from Macy's and updated my curtains, lamps and rugs to match. Unfortunately, the comforter started falling apart and the fabric looked terrible after only 3 months. I began looking for new sets with similar colors that would go with my decor. I found this set and when I got to the store, the queen size was $10 cheaper than stated online. With my coupon the final price was $56! For that price, I was worried it would feel cheap--I was wrong! The colors are great (my set is black, white and gray, not tan or brown like some of the reviews?) and the comforter is very soft. I had to trim a few threads, but really that's normal in the sets. I'm very, very happy with this set so far. For the price, if I use this for a year, I will certainly get my money's worth and then some!

We ordered this online. We were trrying to redo our bedroom black, white and grey. We ordered this set knowing it would be perfect. The color was actually browns. Not black and grey. Our bed and curtains are black and grey and the bedding set does not match it AT ALL!!! It looks very brown especially when held up to black. Although the color is off it does feel very soft and has to be comforable. We tried to make it work, but the colors being brown and not blaxck we HAD to take it back.

For the price, you definitely get a bang for your buck. Its very trendy and stylish. You can match so many things with this set. I absolutely love it!

Only thing that I would say is that the gray is more a tan...but still really nice!

It ended up being $64 with the coupon, it included the euro shams, pillow covers, bedskirt, comforter, and decorative pillows. I'd say that is a good deal, only thing is it looks like a Dark Brown in the photo (to me it did), but it is actually black (I should have read the description).
It is a good buy for anyone who likes to change their bedding yearly, like me.
