I love this thing. It is sturdy and also looks nice in the kitchen. At first I thought I wanted something with some kind of piece sticking out to help rip off the paper towel, but this thing is sturdy enough that you don't need it.

I previously had a towel holder with a screw on top and hated how time consuming it became to change my paper towels. This towel holder is sturdy (the base is a bit bulky, but you are able to pull off a paper towel one handed) Changing my paper towels is a piece of cake... previously I had to unscrew the top and now all you do is push in two buttons & off it comes & snaps right back on! Love it!
