I agree with the other reviews. CBTL is much better than Kuerig, especially when it comes to Espresso. However, my Bed, Bath & Beyond stores are reducing their inventory of capsules to almost nothing. I, too, will stop shopping there, for anything, if they don't step up and stock the capsules properly. I bought my machine at BBB and they owe it to me to stock the coffee.

I have two of the CBTL Americano Espresso Machines and they make the BEST ESPRESSO!! We have one at home and one at our restaurant. However I have recently discovered that my local BBB has not been restocking the capsules...WHY NOT?? Are you kidding me this coffee machine blows the Keurig out of the water and that stuff is all over the shelves. Come on BBB you better restock this coffee or I will never step foot in that store. I dont care how many coupons you send me. Get with the program and stock this coffee. This machine is made by Caffitaly which makes alot of capsules. You can also buy Ecafe capsules and some others on AMAZON and EBAY.

This is (seriously) the best kept secret! Blows the "K" away. After lots of research this CBTL coffeemaker is MORE than regular coffee. We make espresso and Cappuccino too. At this price there is NO comparison!

The BAD news is that BBB does not have the capsules available as of March 2013!!! WHY one must ask??? All owners should write to BBB and get them to better SUPPORT this product!

I absolutely love the CBTL coffee maker and the Italian Espresso. I drink 3 caffe lattes each day (6 capsules). This requires about 10 boxes/month. The problem is now that they've sold me the coffee maker, I can NEVER keep enough on hand. They are usually out of stock at my local store - so I switched to online ordering, even forfeiting my coupons. But now they have been out of stock for a week :-(. I'm switching and ordering directly from CBTL in CA!! Hopefully I'll have better luck.

I bought the CBTL Americano back when Tassimo was having its recall problem, (glad I kept the Tassimo) so anyway, I got great service from BB&B, my first Americano started leaking and BB&B replaced it, no questions asked and I didn't have a receipt. When I bought it you could buy the capsules at BB&B, Target and Macy's in this area, well, Macys discontinued, now Target discontinued and my local BB&B has trouble keeping or getting the italian expresso pods in, and a couple of the others. Great machine, great taste, but I wonder if CBTL tried to go to big to fast and is having trouble competing with the others. Its a better machine if they can get into more stores along with the capsules.

Great machine, no coffee

We've had our machine for a little over a year now. The machine works great, supply of coffee SUCKS!! I was told when I bought this coffee maker that CBTL just "started with a few" coffee flavors and is planning on expanding it's selection. The reason we bought this machine was because of the "true espresso shot" feature that Kuerig didn't have. It has "the higher pressure that is required to make a true espresso shot". She was right, it does make great espresso, but it takes the capsules to make the shot. That is the problem, the last 4 times I have been in our local BB&B, only once, did they have the Italian Espresso capsules that we like. When asked, the manager said they were out but he could order it online and have it shipped to your house. I told him I could do that, well I guess I can't, they don't even have it online because it's "sold out". I used to brag about this machine making such good espresso/coffee, but now I can't say that because all it is now is an expensive paperweight.

I have had a single serve coffee maker since they first came out...have had them all! Kcups, pods, Tassimo, etc.

This coffee is the best I have ever tasted...EVER..great taste and even better no aftertaste and NO coffee breath! The machine itself--no vinegar cleaning, just run it through a cycle without a capsule! Far too easy, incredible coffee. I cannot say enough good things about CBTL.

No more faking it!

I had wanted a Keurig for the longest time. I saw it on QVC and acted sad in front of my 11 year old daughter that it wasn't fair that so and so's mom had one and I didn't. Last Christmas, I ALMOST bought one for myself, but she stopped me - she had convinced my ex husband to buy me one but kept it a secret until Christmas Day. Well, when I finally set it up, I tried every KCup in the package and chose one that was not so bad that I pretended to like it. I couldn't take it anymore! She realized how hard I had struggled to find a coffee I tolerated. So, I finally returned the stupid thing and got a CBTL and I haven't had to fake it ever since! Even the 'bad' coffees are good, and I keep them for guests who like weaker coffee. My favorite is the Italian Espresso. Love the Chai, but wish there were more teas! If you are trying to decide between the two machines, this is a MUST for coffee lovers! One tip: make sure you wait until it heats up properly before you brew, it has much better results! I lift the handle while I heat my milk, then brew the coffee. Awesome!

I had a Keurig at the office for tea and that was ok. I used a french press at home with Medalia D'Oro itallian espresso coffee. I like my coffee full bodied and smooth. Now that I am getting married and making coffee for two, a french press is too inconvenient, so I moved the Keurig and bought Italian espresso coffee pods. YUCK! watery, tasteless, even when using two pods. So then I bought the Tassimo - better but not worth it the cost of the machine or the coffee. A saleswoman at BB&B recommended the CBTL machine so I tried it. Love it! It makes a full flavored cup of coffee quickly and with no mess and no coffee wasted. There are just two things I'd mention: be sure the last pod drops into the bin before using the machine again - sometimes it takes two tries to empty the chamber. I use the machine to boil water for my oatmeal and got a bit of coffee flavoring not realizing a used pod was still in the chamber. Second: the selection of teas is rather limited: I'd like to see green teas and herbal teas as options.
All in all thought this is a great product and well worth the cost of the machine and the coffee.

I have tried kcups, tassimo and others and have NEVER thought they even remotely resembled fresh brewed coffee. THESE are the BEST I've tried and even have a fresh brewed aroma during the brewing cycle. If you're used to those one cups mentioned you'll think your in coffee heaven...convenience and taste...who could ask for more?
