What a great little gadget! Perfect to make quick, easy, hot sandwiches. Cheese melts great and all other ingredients heat up until piping hot. Very easy to clean - this has made lunchtime a lot more interesting on days I don't have anything planned. With $5 off coupon, this only came to $14.99. Was not interested in the more expensive panini grill because I like how this press seals off the edges of the sandwich, sealing all of the melty ingredients inside (makes for less of a mess with children). One of the best gadgets in my kitchen - a must have for anyone!!!!!!!

The product description did not provide enough information to make me realize it was a "fad" style sandwich maker as seen in infomercials. I wanted a sandwich grill that would make a flat-style sandwich, rather than something that grills a "filled" sandwich. This is not an extremely all-around useful product.

the sticker sucks

i wanted this and it was affordable, ive spent the past 6 hours trying to remove the sticker, what idiot put this glue of the gods on a heated device.
now i have a green scotchbrite glob on my grill. what a piece of trash and i havent even used it yet
spend 25 more bucks and get the next step up.
pure garbage due to the unremovable sticker

This is great my son loves making pizza sandwiches with this grill. Some kitchen electrics we own dont get used but this one gets used alot over the summer vacation it was used everyday. Gave him the variety of a toasted sandwiches with out using the stove. Differently buying another as a gft.

I recieved this as a gift yesterday at my bridal shower and as soon as i got home my future husband had it out of the box and making sandwhiches...if he can use it and have sandwhiches come out perfectly then anyone can do it. He is so impressed with how the bread comes out perfectly toasted on both sides. I will be probably be buying these for everyone we know :)

I must admit when I added this to my wedding registry 5 years ago I had no idea how often we would end up using it!!! It can fit 2 regular size sandwich breads side by side, but we actually use it with sliced french and focaccia bread. I put a very little light oil on each side of the bread and place it across both the sandwich squares and close it (cant lock, but works great)...my husband is raving how it makes an ordinary sandwich awesome!! My 2 1/2 year old daughter who eats nothing, is now picking at her bread and eating a grilled cheese on french bread!! We are getting it as a gift for my dad's birthday next month!! We highly recommend this product!!

First time I used it, it burnt the bread! I had to guess when it was done or not with my own timer. It has a red light and green light - no timer. Good for grilled cheese sandwiches with small sized bread slices, but little else.
