Great price but.....
Turns off after about one hour.
Runs only on extra high heat.
Pulled blanket up at night and a wire ripped.
Hmmmmm. bummer

Am I missing something? Is there an auto 'turn off' feature? Blanket turns off after an hour, maybe even minutes? I will continue to search the web to see if this is a 'feature' or blanket defective.

This electric blanket is amazing! My mom is 88 and always cold! My sister got her one for Christmas as her other brand named one died. Talk about soft, heat control is right on, does not pill, lightweight and durable! She loves it! I bought two more, one for my marine son & one for me! Don't hesitate on this blanket!

Stopped Working

I got this blanket from my husband for Christmas and couldn't have been happier with it... that is, until it stopped working. We took it back and got another one, hoping it was a fluke. However, after two weeks, the second blanket also stopped working. We are returning it tomorrow and not even trying again. We had done our research on this blanket and thought we were getting something that would last much longer than a couple weeks.
