Unfortunately, we purchased this shelf in the store and didn't read the reviews. Big mistake. There were glued labels all over it requiring too much time to clean up - the parts don't fit right and we overpaid for the piece of junk it was. With these reviews, you have to wonder why they haven't taken these out of the store - unless BB&B likes selling trash to loyal customers. Too bad they don't allow us to give minus stars - this would be a minus 5.

The shelves are a lumpy mesh, if you can manage to set anything on it without it falling, it will sit lopsided. Looks cheap and not worth the $30.00 I paid for it.. Going back to the store tomorrow!

After looking around the store for a good half hour, I clearly made the wrong decision. The bars in the decorative top aren't fused together right, so it has an overall poor quality look to it. The whole item was scratched up and dented. I didn't even bother taking out all the pieces. It's a real shame, because the design would be cute if it were executed correctly :-(

Mine was defective and the back bars wouldn't fit through the top shelf either. It literally won't go together, besides being poorly made. Surprised BB&B can have so many consistant terrible reviews and still carry the product. Unfortunately, I bought mine a while ago and probably can't return it now. Trash.

Don't get fooled by the look of this item, it is poorly manufactured. The shelves are wire mesh welded on a metal square frame. Wire mesh is lumpy and not welded level. I can not sit anything thin and tall on one of the shelves. They placed labels to show the front and top of the tubes but peeling those labels took longer then putting the unit together. Mounting anchors did not have a lip so while screwing the unit to the wall anchors fell in to the wall, had to go to hardware store to buy new ones. Do not waste your time and money on this item.

I thought this looked great and purchased it to go over my toilet. Didn't even realize that the shelves were not glass initially, but thought it was fine and I wouldn't have to clean glass for a change. But I did notice that the mesh was not even and would move and not be level. I also noticed that it wasn't put together very well. Anyways, once I started putting the unit together, I could not put the rear poles through the holes. I don't know if I received 2 bottom shelves or what. So I was just going to drill the holes in the top shelf bigger to get the poles to slide through, but then realized the holes that are there so you can mount it to the wall were off by over an inch. Annoyed by all of the problems, I disassembled it and put it in the box to return. It was then that I looked to see if there were any bad reviews on it to determine if I should attempt another one or just return and find something else. Needless to say, I found another product at Wal-mart by Better Homes and Gardens that looks even better and was cheaper at $19.97. Do not by this, it is horribly manufactured all the way around.

I bought this today, as I needed something in a hurry for my bathroom wall. It was very simple to assemble, and the instructions were clear...however, as one other reviewer stated-the holes don't all match-up!
I was almost completely done, and feeling pretty good about it, when I noticed that the "welding" (or glue?) had come undone on the bottom part of the frame! Luckily for me, it isn't really noticeable because it's on the side closest to the wall. But if you are going to be looking at this head-on...it will be very noticeable!
Also, the shelves are mesh and are NOT level! Why they did that, I do not know?! I did put stuff on them...but some of the bottles kind of lean on the others b/c of the mesh.
The only good thing is, it does look attractive, and the price isn't too bad, especially when purchased with a coupon...but I would not recommend this particular item to anyone who doesn't have the patience to mess around with it to make it acceptable.

I rarely leave reviews for products...they usually work and I go on with my life.

This one however frustrated me from the very start.

1. When removing the pieces, the top support piece was rattling from the inside (these are tubes...nothing should be inside of them).
2. One of the nuts in the top piece was seated sideways. I knew that this would be a problem later on.
3. The back tubes are not perfectly straight. When forced through their holes, the cheap finish scraped off of them.
4. As the previous review stated, nothing is true or level. It doesn't sit flush against the wall, and the shelves don't sit level.
5. The cheap china metal is purely junk. When hand tightening the screws, the metal caves in and creates eye sores.

Is it usable? Sure. But now I have to position it so that the many blemishes are not visible.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

We recently repainted & updated our bathroom & thought this shelf would be perfect!! It so is not - had to put the unit together & most pieces had stickers on them that wouldn't come off. The shelves are mesh and are NOT level, so we can't put anything on them that we had planned too. I'll continue to look for something that is better. :(
